I am not writing this review because I am an angry person, the reason I am writing this review is because I hope to help a future mother make the correct decision. This doctor does not care about her patients, her staff forgets to schedule ultrasounds and does not communicate! Anyway this doctor ruined my labor and delivery! She failed to monitor closely which caused an emergency c-section she did not want to perform because she “was going out of town to a birthday party” I pushed for three hours and told her multiple time I was exhausted! She used the vacum/suction tool 8 times to “assist my son” and it popped off 3 times! After all that trauma she ended up doing a c section! My son was born dead he had to be resuscitated and he had swallowed fluid with meconium in it. After the surgery she did not go to my room to explain anything. My son was at RPMH for 2 days until had he had to have an emergency hospital transfer due to his birth injury!When he got transferred she did not bother… to show up because “she was grocery shopping “ as she told me when I went to get my staples removed. My son now has to go to physical and occupational therapy. 3 months after his birth his head is still swollen! All of this could have been avoided if only she cared for her patients! The ONLY reason I know of everything that happened is because I picked up my medical records... I wanted to understand where I went wrong as a mother, but it was all my doctor.

Because she wouldn't listen to me and follow up and try to help figure out why I was bleeding I Lost My Baby in the second trimester. All she would do is say the baby has a strong heartbeat.

She misdiagnosed me. I went to her for some symptoms that I was experiencing and she based her diagnoses on that. When I asked her if she could run some blood work to make sure that was what I had she refused. She stated that "it was not necessary" and that "the results would take too long to get back". She refused to even order basic blood work on me to make sure that nothing else was going on. My condition continued to get worse and she was still refusing to run any tests on me so I ended up seeing another doctor for a second opinion. The second doctor ordered blood work and it turned out that none of Dr. Liedtke's diagnoses that she gave me were correct. I will no longer go to her after this incident as it was obvious that she could care less about her patients and their well being.
