Dr. Jennifer Killeen Lowney, MD

I felt like crying when I left her . She had my records and saw exactly the condition that is controlling my life and causing distress . Instead of acknowledging the reason I was there all she did was offer a test that would have nothing to do with the underlying issue. She did not make eye contact or offer anything helpful and chose to totally disregard discussion of the whole reason I came . I felt like she did not care and that I wasted an entire day of driving a long way .

Had a surgical consult with Dr. Lowney. I wasn’t sure about the first opinion so I wanted some additional insight. I Previously had colon cancer and wanted a to have the best doctor possible this time around. She didn’t look at my chart, said she didn’t need it. She spent seven minutes with me and then wanted to schedule the surgery. She may be a good surgeon, I don’t know because I didn’t feel she even saw me as a person. Also, her front desk person is very rude. W

The doctor and her assistant are very personable and efficient. HOWEVER. person at front desk is extremely rude. On a follow up visit ( after fighting traffic and walking faster than was comfortable so I would arrive on time) I was told that I did NOT have an appointment. I had failed to take the appointment card with me. On my next vfsit, I took that card and showed to her her, asking why she had said I did not have an appoiontnent. She said I was not in their system (?). Strange, since Dr. Lowney had performed surgery earlier and had told me to come back for a follow-up. I do not plan to make an appointnment again because of that woman.

She is the best!!!

Don't go to this doctor she's horrible. She screwed up my Dad's surgery then nearly let him die before she would take him back to surgery to fix the problem. She doesn't explain anything nor does she listen.

Horrible bedside manner. Screwed up surgery. Created permanent damage. Very discouraged.

Lowney is an arrogant doctor who was curt and abrasive with me. Her communication skills were equally poor. She didn't explain my procedure beforehand nor did she explain the findings and treatment plan afterwards. This was a bad experience and I'm still angry about the manner in which I was treated. I would not recommend this doc and I don't plan to return. I hope this helps someone else avoid an unpleasant, unproductive experience.

I would highly recommend Dr.Lowney,from my initial visit with her I felt very comfortable with her she performed surgery on me and I have had no complications and my follow up appointments have gone very good her bedside manners are very good and has always been compassionate about my health and well being.office staff has always been friendly and I have had no trouble with scheduling appointments Great surgeon and I recommend

Dr. Lowney was rude, made incorrect assumptions, and caused more damage during surgery than the original problem. Two years later I'm still paying for her mistake.
