Dr. Jennifer Lynn Lowry, DO

Dr. Lowry is a great Dr and very attentive. She seems to care about her patients asking all sorts of questions to get to know her patients. She has an amazing office and comfortable atmosphere as well. If you or you know someone who struggles with learning disabilities she is definitely the one to assist you with her knowledge.

After multiple counselors and seeing another psychiatrist and being diagnosed Dr. Lowry finally got help for my daughter. She pinpointed the problem and gave u a solution. She is caring and wonderful. She moved out of the office she was in before to help her patients and now works in a different environment that is much better for children. She is the best mental healthcare professional we have worked with and we have worked with 8 or more at this point. So glad that we found her.

My children have been patients of Dr. Lowry's for several years, both during the PCSD years and now that she has her own practice. We have had successful results working with Dr. Lowry. She is a great listener and will give us options for medication. If we feel there is too much medication, Dr. Lowry respects that and will give us other options to try. Both children (male and female) are comfortable with Dr. Lowry- which is great, because until we met Dr. Lowry they went through quite a few therapists they did not connect with!

Reading other reviews, I knew the office can be a problem but I was desperate for a good doctor. After a couple of years dealing with the office, I just think it is too difficult to justify the visits with Dr. J Lowry. Long waits in the office, difficulties getting appointments and the treatment we get from the office staff has been a source of stress for the whole family. To be fair, Dr. J Lowry does take the time to listen and discuss different medication choices. The office uses an automatic recording while putting you on hold for some time more than 30 minutes. The recording tells you how your call is important and how the staff respect all patients …. It is just ironic to listen to that message over and over for a long period till someone hangs up on you.

Although she was behind schedule I didn't mind too much. I was just happy to get an appointment so soon after I called. She listened to me and gave me feedback and validated what I was feeling and gave me good perspective and feedback. She never cut me off during our visit. She walked me out after and had me make follow up appointment. she was very courteous

She was great explaining things to me but always have to wait an hour or more after scheduled appointment time which is horrible for a 6 year old with anxiety. I was told to leave a message on her voice mail for any questions. I have been waiting 4 days for her to return my call.

Dr. Lowry is great! However the office staff is the worst I have ver delt with. They make it extremely difficult and frustrating to book appointments. They have been so rude every time I have had to deal with them. I would hope that Dr. Lowry finds a new office soon because I don't know how much longer I can deal with the compleat lack of care from the office staff!

This place his horrible I have been no less than 40 min after my appointment time by the time I was seen. The front desk ladies are so dissrespectful. This place is a mess! Defiantly would never recommend this place to anyone. Also after 3 months of the wrong they finally changed my sons diagnosis it's ridiculous you would think a PHD would mean something.

Dr Lowry is fantastic great with my daughter, my daughter enjoys her visits and actually does not mind coming.
