I really like my experience at Boston Orthopedic and Spine, especially Dr. Luz. She was extremely nice and very informative. She made me feel comfortable and confident in her care. I also feel hopeful about the issue with my hip and Achilles. I am very grateful I was matched with Dr. Luz!

I was referred to see Dr. Luz and have tried to get an appointment with her. I called once and left a message with the office staff and waited a week. After not hearing back I thought I would give it another try thinking maybe they got my number wrong. Well, another week and no call back. No longer want to see her as if this is how their communication is I am not interested.

Overall, had a bad experience with Dr Luz. I was forced to be in severe pain for months leading to emergency surgery. - Horrific office staff, can't get in touch with anyone/get answers - She did a poor job of coming up with the appropriate care plan for my injury - Not accountable for mistakes

Did a good eval but failed to ever follow up as promised even 12 days later despite being told will call in a day or two and consult with some other doctors.Also left out a very significant finding in a written report, and despite several phone calls to staff who said she wd call, never heard and never corrected missing part.Not responsible!May be overwhelmed, needs some supervision.

My initial experience with Dr Luz was great - she seemed knowledgeable, caring, interested and invested. Then she referred me to a surgeon in her office who, in the course of his exam knowingly caused a NEW injury in a different joint and was overall just awful. I made a follow up with Dr Luz to try to figure out where to go from here and how to get the additional pain treated that her colleague caused. She blew it off. She did not do an exam. She tried to cover for him. She gave me two other surgeons names even when I told her I’m not interested in seeing another surgeon at this time because I’m afraid of being injured again. I cannot in good conscience recommend her to anyone.

Brilliant, patient, willing to work with me over an extended period of time to get answers that no other doctor could figure out for me. Do yourself a favor, and go to Dr. Luz first- she truly and deeply cares for her work and her patients.
