I’ve been to doctor mcmillan a few times and every time I go she undermines the things i’m telling her and also makes you feel dumb. My sibling came in and told her that her throat swelled after she ate peanuts & doctor mcmillan proceeded to tell her that she’s not writing her a referral to an allergy specialist because there is “no point” because she was “obviously allergic to nuts”. Which is absolute rediculous and boarderline malpractice because EVERY doctor who gets a patient in with a suspected allergy should ALWAYS be referred to a specialist. Absolutely rediculous.

I’ve been seeing Dr Mcmillan since I left my pediatrician over 25 years ago! Waits are minimal! And she is very efficient! She will ask for a summary of my symptoms and ask a few questions then almost magically immediately knows what the issue is! And she has no problem referring you to a specialist if necessary! She’s great at responding to messages sent through the website! I really have no complaints. In 25 plus years, she’s never misdiagnosed me to where I need to return. And I went to UNC-Chapel Hill and had two issues over my 4 years there that the doctors could not solve after numerous visits. And I’m both cases, I came home to see Dr Mcmillan and she knew what it was and fixed the issue! I would recommend her to anyone!

Dr. McMillan takes the time to discuss issues and is very thorough. If you don't ask the questions, she will. She is alway pleasant and you don't feel like you are being rushed out. I would recommend her without hesitation. She has been my Dr. for almost 30 years now, she has been with me thru many ups and downs.

Dr McMillan always enter the room with a smile and she is not one to rush the patient. She asks you questions about your visit. Yes she was recommended to me. I'll do the same.

Saw McMillan twice for same problem. Problem was dismissed! Ended up having surgery. NEGLIGENT!
