Dr. Jennifer Lynette Pierce, MD

My mother passed away at age 46, following stage llB cervical cancer. Dr. Pierce & Dr. Kohler were my mothers drs at the time that she received the news that she had brain metasis and died a week later after entering a coma. My mother did not have brain metasis a week before the coma, as the scan did not show it. How is it that one week my mother doesn’t have brain metasis, but the next it has covered her brain and she went straight into a coma and all that is left to say is “Since she’s so young it could be a few days or weeks, depending how much she fights” How was there not more to do?

She and Dr Greybill saved my life. Dr Pierce LISTENS to me, explains to me, comforts me, encourages me, cheers me on! She goes above and beyond!!!

I saw dr young-pierce twice and each time was treated very well. Staff was great, dr was exceptionally nice and reassuring. Knowing how stressed out I get she was understanding and put me at ease. I am a relocated cancer survivor. I have nothing bad to say

I am very satisfied with Dr. Jennifer Young Pierce. My OB/GYN recommended I see her because of my high risk case. I immediately felt comfortable with her and appreciated the caring staff. My surgery was successful and she was able to accomplish the difficult task. Everyone at MUSC was extremely courteous and helpful and made me feel at ease through the whole process.

Dr. Young-Pierce impressed me immediately. She requested more background medical information about my case than any other doctor had ever done. She took a strong interest in my very unusual case and led an investigation of my case by USCM. I found out more information about the results of my cancer surgery in NJ than I had ever been told. She is warm, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I am privileged to be her patient and have many doctors with whom to compare her, due to my three different types of cancer. I would highly and enthusiastically recommend her!

Doctor Young Pierce was unprofessional. After I had a procedure that did not go well she never followed up with me but instead let another doctor take on my care. I would never recommend or use her again. I found her unprofessional, did not have bedside manners and her skills during procedure were less than desirable. Use caution if you use her.

Not a good doctor! I was referred for evaluation by my Gyn and found Dr young to be cold and unsupportive in my care. Would not recommend!

My OB/GYN referred me to Dr. Young. I completely trust my OB/GYN and never once questioned the physician that she was referring me to. I usually see a female physician and a male resident performed my procedure. I have seen male physicians in the past and felt very comfortable as they acted in a caring, professional manner. Dr. Young barely spoke to me during the appointment and conducted only a small part of the exam. I was never once asked if I was comfortable and was told diagnostic possibilities but not given any other information. All of the physicians then left the room. I had to walk myself out of the exam room with no direction of how to schedule my follow-up appointment for test results and the assistant at the desk was not helpful either. No matter the results of my test, I will not continue treatment with this physician or her team.
