Dr. Jennifer Rene Raley, MD

Dr. Raley doesn't have the best bedside manner. I've seen her for about a year or two, and in that time I have not developed any sort of doctor/patient relationship with her. I don't feel she cares about my issues, and it seems she may even be annoyed by them. I am someone that has dealt with illness for my entire life, and due to very strong childhood medications, have a lot of long term side effects. I often feel, as another commenter said, that she believes I am drug seeking. I am not. I have a long history of medical issues that is documented. But she has never asked about them. I was diagnosed with migraines quite some years ago, but she seems skeptical about my issue. I had cluster migraines and she said to take asprin because they sounded more like tension headaches (asprin will do nothing for migraines btw). She also tells me to use some herbal cream from the store for my migraines... This will not cure a migraine. Full stop. Even if it relaxes me psychologically, it does… nothing to stop a migraine, period. And as a doctor she should know this. I've given her quite a few chances, but I've decided that I'm going back to my previous doctor, whom I only left due to insurance coverage. My insurance is PPO now.

I have been treated at this clinic before by a resident and had a better experience. This doctor did not think that the previous doctor's diagnosis was correct so ordered more testing. Fine with me (even though the meds the previous doctor ordered worked). I asked about what tests she was ordering and why. She was very vague which I thought was odd for a straightforward question. She acted like I didn't need to be asking right now. So strange to me. If you like things explained to you, treated like a person not a number, like to be informed about your medical care, DO NOT go to her. Turns out she skipped over some STD testing she ordered. Now I understand her line of questioning. If she thought that's what I had, I don't know why she didn't tell me that. I have NEVER had a doctor not tell me what we were testing for. I got the notice online that my tests results were in and was blindsided what she ordered. Thankfully, all negative and she was wrong. But seriously, I'm a middle aged… adult women. I can deal with a doctor that maybe isn't personable as long as they can explain what's going on: What are the possible diagnosis, what tests are being ordered, what's the next step. She just doesn't cut it on either end. Not personable, not informative. I would never make another appointment with her. Ever.

I thought my appointment was 9:40, I came in at 9:15 am, while I was at the parking lot I checked my voicemail if I'm the right place then it say that my appointment is 9:00 am. I rushed myself to get in that office, waited for ten minutes the front desk called me to pay my co-pay, waited for 5 minutes and the MA call me in checked my vital sign, I explained to the MA what happened. She said it happened, "I will tell Dr. Raley if she has time to see you or may be the doctors can, she is with other patient right now". I waited for another 15 minutes then the MA walked in told me that Dr. Jennifer Raley cannot see me because I was late. That doctor she did not waste her time waiting for me because if I'm not their yet she will accommodate another patient. She refused to see a new patient like me because I'm late? What kind of doctor she is. I'm not recommending her to any body. Even their MA she was talking to me but she was not looking at me at all. They have a poor customer… service.

What a joke of a doctor. This visit was a waste of my time and copay...She had NO bedside manner, not een a smile the entire visit and didn't listen to anything I had to say about my own illness, just acted like I was lying to get drugs...by drugs I mean strong antibiotics for my raging sinus infection...that she said couldn't possibly be a sinus infection because I had only NOTICED symptoms for 5 days, not 7-10 days. E-Rx was not even sent when I got to the pharmacy, thank god I have a good relationship with them and they filled it using my printout from the visit listing the medication. Props to target pharmacy...BOO to Dr. Raley. I will NEVER go back and will tell anyone who will listen what a terrible physician she is!!!
