Dr. Jennifer Schenne, DO

I've seen Dr Schenne 2 times in the last 7 months as a new patient. Initially, I got several requests for a review before I'd really had a chance to determine how well I liked her. I gave her a stellar review before I tried to schedule again. I have called for a same day or following week appointment and was told to go to urgent care. Urgent care still requires a doctor followup within 2 weeks but you can't get in to see her again after it? If you schedule online expect it to be a month out. When you do finally get in to see her again she is the warm, caring, compassionate efficient doctor everyone has described. She is also a teaching doctor which may cause her to be extremely busy. Her staff screens patients and plays a big part in controlling her schedule and who she sees how often and when. Choose to be polite or you will get nowhere with them.

Dr. Schenne is a very caring doctor. She takes excellent care of my aging mother and I have referred several friends to her. Everyone is very please. It is unusual to find a doctor so caring.

Thorough

I have always found Dr. Schenne to be very present when she sees me. Always takes time and is very caring. She refers me to specialist quickly when needed. I have a lot of medical allergies and she has always been respectful and willing to find different ways to help.

I found Dr. Schenne to be a doctor who cares for her patients. she listens to what I have to say. Does not do a lot of unnecessary tests and really works with me to get the care that I need. I have referred several friends an family members

I was seeing Schenne for around a year now, and after complaining about 2 problems that I have, all she would do is send me to see specialist, now after all this time I still have my problems which leaves me in a lot of pain with no end, now this Dr. Schenne should be fired for not doing her job, when did Doctors around here stop being doctors

Dr. Jennifer is the detective doctor who will see it through - kind of Iowa's own Dr. Gregory House, except with a lovely demeanor. She truly cares about her patients and personally follows up on your tests/progress. She thinks outside the box and should have a cult following. Yes, she is super kind and accommodating with everyday illness for my kids and I, but when it is something more where every other doctor would take a wait and see and cost you more misery, she believes in her patients ability to relay symptoms and makes sure your are properly and timely treated. Worth the drive from anywhere. You have found a doctor you can trust.
