Dr. Jennifer Renee Schmidt, DO

I have had 3 endometriosis surgeries with a different Obgyn and dr Schmidt just did my fourth and i can’t tell she was so gentle!! I’m in hardly any pain! I trust her with my life. She is the best, the sweetest and she listens to everything you have to say. The most caring genuine doctor i know. And her nurse Melissa is amazing too! I’ll never leave!

Dr, Schmidt listens, cares, & loves her patients. She is my favorite doctor on the planet and deserves the world! A true gift from God! So blessed to have her as my doc! She is the most gentle as well. Surgery didn’t even hurt! So happy with this doctor she changed my life. I have all of my family going to her now. There’s nobody else i trust

The nicest doctor ever. She is extremely thorough and is very gentle. I have no pain after surgery. She cares so much and loves her patients. I recommend everyone to her. I’ll only let my family go to her. She changed my life and words cannot express how grateful i am.

This doctor is not a good choice —especially for younger patients. I do not recommend this doctor. She treated my daughter, but would not listen to her complaints. She was combative and accusatory and said my daughter was being dramatic and simply had anxiety rather than true physical pain. For a procedure usually performed in the seclusion of her office but in my daughter’s case performed in a hospital at my request, another doctor had to get involved on an emergent basis and reverse the procedure this doctor did — a procedure that she had either done incorrectly or that had gone awry. This doctor was either unable or unwilling to see that there was a serious problem with the treatment. Fortunately, a different doctor from a different office was able to step in and successfully fix the problem and stop the pain my daughter was experiencing. I cannot in good conscious recommend this doctor for any woman, and I certainly cannot recommend her for teen or younger patients.

My minor daughter was treated by Dr. Schmidt. After doing a procedure, my daughter was in terrible pain, and this doctor allowed her to suffer for more than a day. I felt she did not perform the medical procedure competently, and she was dishonest with and about me rather than fixing the problem. After dismissing her, another doctor found and fixed the problem. I can not recommend her.

I chose to have my Children with womens-obgyn. I liked the idea that there were a group of doctors that could make medical decisions together. After five years and 2 children with them. I called the office requesting a note for jury duty. It was the second week of jury duty. I had 3 more days of jury duty and my body was in a lot of pain from sitting for long periods of time. I called the receptionist and she stated that the doctor didn't feel I had reason enough for a note. So, I called back a little later and told her their website it stated that women's obgyn doesn't recommend pregnant women sit for long periods of time. The receptionist responded it is no different then you sitting around at home. The doctor must not have looked at my file or she would have known that I have a 3 year old and an 1.5 year old. I also have an umbilical hernia and very bad sciatica. Needless to say the receptionist next told me that I have 30 days to find a new doctor. I tried to speak with my doctor… and she said no. So, Jennifer Schmidt made a decision to terminate me from the practice without ever speaking with me or allowing me to speak with my doctor. She wrote me a letter that said, " we are concerned that you are asking us to provide a note indication unnecessary restrictions; this seems to indicate a lack of trust in our judgement" then " Unfortunately, because of the uncomfortable situation this created, we feel it is best that you find another healthcare provider". I thought this was very interesting! A simple request for a letter over the phone "seems to indicate a lack of trust" and without being able to speak with my doctor I am forced to find a new doctor. I am 27 weeks pregnant ! Stay far far away from this group! I did love my doctor but if you are terminated without being able to speak with your doctor that is very unprofessional!!!
