As a previous patient's review stated, I too, have never had a psychiatrist pinpoint that sleep deprivation was a key element to my mental and physical well-being. And it did not take Dr. Scott long to figure that out. Having issues with PTSD, ADHD, depression, and residual problems from chemo and the permanent damage from cancer, Dr. Scott has been nothing less than stellar in her approach to help improve the quality of my life. I have read a less than positive review regarding her style. I can understand how she may not be the right connection for some, but please do not let that one review keep you from checking her out. She is amazing and kind and empathetic and funny and cares deeply-very deeply-about her patients' successes. She has been the most instrumental help I have ever received on my path to better. Better meaning all the encompassing elements that make a person whole, self-kind and go forth in the world with joy and understanding.

Dr. Scott has been my husband's best advocate in his struggle with progressive neurological disease. Her expertise and compassion have made this an easier journey for both my husband and me.

Doctor Scott is kind and gentle and really goes the extra mile. She suspected I had sleep apnea and referred me to a sleep doctor for testing and treatment. I have been seeing psychiatrists for years and she is the first one to detect that part of my problem was caused by a lack of REM sleep.
