Dr. Jennifer Pearl Sewing, DO

I have been seeing Dr. Sewing for years. She really listens and cares about her patients. Her staff is great. I would gladly see anyone in her office if she is unavailable.

BEWARE: Insurance money machine! I've been a patient of Dr. Sewing for almost 20 years. I was a college athlete (Soccer goalie) & played women's professional tackle football (Linebacker) for 13 years. I've wreaked havoc on my body: 6 knee surgeries & was diagnosed with Degenerate Disk Disease (back) about 13 years ago. Dr. Sewing, prior to partnering with Southside Practice, would personally visit with me & recommended pain medication and cortisone for my back. This is a preexisting condition and has been for over 13 years. Now, Dr. Sewing requires an office visit (Every 2-3 months) when medication has to be refilled or a new cortisone shot must be prescribed. Dr. Sewing just wants the office visit for money. It is also important to mention that I haven’t actually been "seen" by Dr. Sewing for over 5 years. Dr. Sewing has medical students (Residency) & nurse practitioners to do her work. Dr. Sewing just wants the office visit money and has no interest in your health. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED

Dr. Sewing is one of the most attentive physicians I’ve ever experienced! She is thoughtful, patient, and gives me a complete picture of my issues. Being a 50-ish woman, I feel that she gives me the best care with my and health and well-being, but she is also caring and knowledgeable with my children’s needs as well. I trust her completely - she is the BEST!

I have been taking my parents to Dr. Sewing for about 5 years. She is always so patient with them both and always listens to their concerns. She is very detail oriented and clearly explains things to them both (and me as well) We enjoy her office staff as well, especially Mark in the lab, he is great.

I have been seeing Dr. Sewing for about 7 years. She is always very helpful and detailed with my care. I love her office staff, especially the Mark in the lab. He is the best. Her assistant always calls with my lab work and explains everything to me.

I have all the faith in the world with my healthcare under Dr Sewing. She is always willing to spend the extra time to assure I understand my healthcare concerns.

I am very pleased with my experiences with Dr. Sewing and her staff. Dr. Sewing and her patience and compassion are endless. She always allows me ample time to discuss my concerns. This doctor is horrible. She has way too many patients so don’t expect a appointment for at least 6 months and god forbid you need to see someone right away, you may have to see her nurse practitioner Lisa who Is rude and god forbid you gain a few pounds she will say your fat. Also Jennifer seeing too me off my medication that I greatly need without weening me off. So I had a seizure. She is the worst doctor she doesn’t care about her patients.
