Dr. Jennifer Anne Sharron, MD

My wife had been a patient of a different neurologist for several years. When we were told that her doctor would be leaving the area, she was referred to Dr. Sharron, so we scheduled an appointment several months out. With my wife needing a new prescription for her medication, we were preparing for her appointment. Well, a mere 20 minutes ago (and ONE MERE BUSINESS DAY before the appointment), we received a phone call from one of Dr. Sharron's staff members indicating that she didn't think my wife would be a good fit as a patient. No explanation was given. We have no time for a contingency plan, and we are scrambling to figure something out with regard to her medication. THIS IS THE WORST CASE OF UNPROFESSIONALISM WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED, from anyone in any walk of life! We are now angry, confused and worried. How anyone with this type of dismissive demeanor can practice medicine is beyond me. We would rate her zero stars if possible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I would not recommend Dr Jennifer Sharron to anyone. Her office doesn't answer phone calls, respond to voicemails and the technology in their office is outdated. For example, the emg I had in their office which was preformed by Dr. Wu, was on of the most torturous experiences of my life. I was forced to move my muscles while they held needles in my hands and arms to check my nerves. I performed the same test with my new neurologist for my hands and feet and because of the updated machine they used, it was nowhere near the trauma I had endured with Alamo Neurology Consultants. MRI orders and results took longer than necessary, response to employer fmla docs/short term disability documents were ignored. If u have alot of patience and time and money to waste, then this is definitely the doctor for you! If u are sick and want help to get better, I'd recommend looking for a different neurologist and practice altogether.

My visit in May 21019 was terrific but now... their front desk mailbox is FULL, the scheduling mailbox is also FULL and finally, the person on the line says to call back during normal business hours which is 8-5, it was at 4:00 PM but no one home. CRAPPY phone system to see a doctor. BLAH,,,,,

I have epilepsy and had been through many neulogists prior to meeting Dr. Sharron. Dr. Sharron applied a humanist, and overarching view to my case, as well as, a scientific solution to my health problem. She is an exceptional doctor!
