I drove my mother 2.5 hours to see Dr. Wu for a 2nd opinion surgical consultation and it was well worth the drive. Dr. Wu is a physician that other physicians should strive to be - attentive, caring, professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Wu did not want to do the surgery that had been previously recommended without trying medication options first. She explained everything in great detail to both me and my mother who is 81. Dr. Wu took my mother's history and other medications into account as she formulated her treatment plan. I will gladly make the long drive for the follow-up knowing my mother is in capable hands.
