Dr. Jenny Lee Boyer, MD

Needs to put down the pipe. The VA is crazy for allowing this crack fiend work for them. She is HIV positive and be careful when she gets mad or is fiending for a rock she’ll cut herself and threaten to infect you.

Mind is ravaged from drugs and dementia due to AIDS.

I once worked as a nurse at the VA and I can say without a doubt that Dr. Boyer is the worst practitioner around. I felt obligated to post this after hearing about her recent arrest for assaulting a patient. Dr. Boyer failed numerous drug screens but the VA wouldn’t fire her because of the staffing shortage. Comes into work so intoxicated she can barely hold her head up and is slurring her words. The arrest is not the first time she has physically assaulted a patient just the first time she got caught. Previous assaults were able to occur because she did it to psychiatric patients and many people do not believe them. If you have a loved one or yourself have ever seen Dr. Boyer you need to immediately switch doctors. I can’t believe the VA is letting her continue to practice while she is awaiting trial.

Can only get work at the VA because of their staffing shortage. Boyer is constantly abusing patients and was arrested recently for attacking one. She will more than likely lose her license but while she is still practicing, DO NOT SEE HER!

I saw Dr. Boyer recently who I was reluctant to see after finding out she was recently arrested for assault. She was verbally abusive and flat out rude not “direct” as she wrote herself in one of the reviews I read. I’m not looking for sympathy but I don’t like being berated and verbally abused. All VA employees are rude and lazy but Dr. Boyer takes to the extreme.

Comes to work high and is very aggressive towards patients. To make matters worse she knows nothing about psychiatry. The VA has failed to act on any of these issues.

She took me off benzodiazepine treatment that another doctor had started me on and did not taper me off. I became very ill and started experiencing withdrawals. This woman should not be allowed to have a say in anybody’s treatment.

Somebody who should not be working in medicine and certainly not in mental health. Acts like she’s on drugs.

Doesn’t listen to any of your concerns and is extremely rude.

Very negligent, talks down to the patient and not thorough in giving assessments. Took me off two medications that are vital for my mental health and I am currently not doing well.
