Dr. Jenny Cheng, MD

I have been patient of Dr. Cheng for few years now and I am very tankful for all the care that she provides. Office staff is very organized and very helpful.

I went to see Dr. Cheng due to slightly elevated thyroid readings on a blood test. She only offered the option of Synthroid, nothing else. The office visit lasted 20 minutes at best, yet she charged out the office visit as High Complexity New Patient at $650. I wrote a letter of dispute after I received a copy of her chart notes, about 50 % of which WAS NOT THE TRUTH. I am still stuck paying just over $300 for this ridiculous farce of medical care. If you have problems with your thyroid levels seek treatment from a naturopathic doctor. This doctor only wants to make as much money as possible and not try to help a patient be cured of an imbalance - only put them on medication that they will have to take the rest of their lives. Stay away.

The receptionists are ill manner towards all patients and have no respect for patients. The business card clearly says business hours are from 9:00/9:30 to 6:00 on weekdays. The receptionists said no they close at 5:00pm and said they didn't bother updating the business card. Exactly why are you misleading your patients who entrust you with their health? Furthermore, they didn't even bother to try to direct me to a different doctor who can potentially help and assist. Receptionists' attitudes towards the patients are off the charts, where you'll even see arguments/disagreements conduct right in front of you. This shows a lack of respect towards their patients. They reflect poorly on the Doctor and on the Healthcare system whose goals are to help people.

She has a busy practice, but finds the time to provide excellent care to her patients

Do yourself a favor and stay away-her agenda is to rip off your co-pay and insurance company. To get your test results you need to come in for an office visit (1 co-pay). To get a copy of your own medical records ($0.75 per page), to get a refill (another office visit) . Unless youâ??ve got lots of time and plenty of money to spare-SKIP this doctor and her office!

I have been sick for over a month, call this office to schedule appointment. They moved and said we closing in half an hour no more walk in. So today went to their office they move lost my file. I waited for hours and it was around lunch, present my insurance they said not sure if it's deductible or copay. Told me to sit down no one call my insurance but they were too busy eating lunch. I called my insurance told me dr office has to bill for deductible no copay. told the rude staff( she is the short one with curly horrid hair) said I need to pay copay of $60 but I told her it isn't the right practice - she goes well who knows what the charge is but must pay the copay. I remember few years back I paid them once for a one time copay and they send forms to my insurance and few months back I was charge full cash price of the visit . End up paying the copay and full visit to prevent collection calls .Please save yourself time and insurance fraud from this ridiculous place!!!

The staff is quite rude when you ask a question. I feel like they just want you to sit there and keep your mouth shut. They lose files and mix patient's charts up. Twice I went in to get some procedures done, and Dr. Cheng was reading me results from another patient's chart. Whenever I ask Dr. Cheng a question, she basically just brushes it off as nothing and tries to keep the appointment as short as possible. A couple of times i told her some of my signs and symptoms, and for some reason she just started laughing. Another time I was describing some symptoms I was having, and then I said that I also had nausea, she just gave me a confused look and just ignored it. Don't go here people, this doctor's office just shuffles you along, they don't care about patients, just the amount of patients they see in a day.

They can't find my chart even though she's been my doctor for 2 years. The people in the front are rude and stupid

I went to Dr. Cheng because her office was open on the weekends and I hope others will not follow in my tragic footsteps for convenience. The wait time was horrible; there was no point in scheduling an appointment if the doctor doesnt see you until 3-4 hours later. Unless you want to waste your life away waiting for Dr. Cheng and her incompetent staff to help you, please do yourself a favor and skip this doctor. Even when I was able to see her, she was clearly brief in her medical review and provided very little expertise. Her primary concern was not of her patient but the number of patients she was able to see each day. Sadly enough, this doctor is not about quality care and its troublesome to know someone in such a profession has so little regard for the people who put their health in her hands.

This is the worst primary care doctor you can go to. The wait time is ridiculously long. Her support staff is incompetent and its sad to say many Asian families go to her as their primary care doctor. Each patient is treated like a number in the assembly line-does she care-NO! Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
