Dr. Jennifer Mccallen Civitella, MD

She has been our family physician for almost 13 years and we would definitely recommend her if you are looking for a good doctor in this area!! She has become like family-!!

I was a patient of hers for about 2-3 years. Recently, I was admitted to the hospital for a serious health issue and almost died. I stayed in the hospital for 5 days. My husband had to reschedule an appointment I had with dr. Civitella which was scheduled when I was in the hospital. So, she was aware I was admitted to the hospital. Upon release, I was told to follow up with my primary care doctor. That Monday, when the office opened, my husband called her office and explained the situation. We were promised a call back before the end of the day. No call back. On Tues, I was having bladder pain and went to Urgent Care because of my doctor's lack of response. I had an infection. I got meds from urgent care and again, was told to follow up with my doctor. Friday, I call Dr Civitella's office telling them I now have a bladder infection and still have not received a call back for an appointment. No call back. Dr. Civitella knew I was in the hospital, refused to make a follow up… appointment nor have basic communication with me. And worse, she allowed me to sit with an infection that could have been serious for a week. I fear for her patients. I filed a formal report. This is neglignece if not malpractice.
