Dr. Jenny Eun Jacq, MD

This incident happened a few years ago but it was so horrible I have to share so it doesn’t happen to anyone else. In 2013, my daughter suffered a serious head injury on the grounds of her elementary school. She was 4 years old. After several months of recovery, we took her to several doctors to determine the extent of th injuries she sustained to her eye. I called Dr Jacqs office to make an appointment with her and the appointment staff person who took my call was by far the rudest, most unprofessional woman I’ve ever had the great misfortune to come across. Her name was Beth. When I explained what happened to my daughter and where, she barked at me “you know what that’s called? It’s called an ACCIDENT.” I was so shocked at her attitude, especially since my child was so young and very seriously injured (she had been in ICU for bleeding on her brain) but his woman apparently took things personal because her children had attended the same elementary school as my daughter, which is… where the injury occurred. I tried to explain my daughters situation further to her, and she put me down, barking that “most parents don’t know what goes on at their children’s schools” as if the injury my child sustained was somehow MY fault. It was truly the most disrespectful exchange I’ve ever had with anyone in the medical community. I would’ve reported her immediately, but my concern for my daughter then was greater than my anger over this woman’s lack of maturity and common sense. I’m not sure if Beth is still employed by Kaiser, but if she is, I advise everyone to deal with someone else. Dr. Jacq, on the other hand, is great. Too bad her appointment staff needs to be fired.
