Dr.Hoff is so much more than a doctor, he is an educator, he has taught me , guided me, and given me tools to help myself in my daily life to better my health both physically and mentally He is goes over and beyond the norm of a doctor in his patient care!

Dr. Hoff always takes time to explain treatments. He tried to explain a plan for my surgery and my care afterwards. He helped eased my worries about the surgery. Thanks.

Dr. Hoff, is a genuinely compassionate and empathetic person. He has been giving me a series of Bupivacaine injections directly into the most solid and knotted of muscles. We started in the neck for the first session to very little effect. The 2nd session he did some in the lower neck and trapezius also to little effect. The 3rd session he concentrated on the rhomboids close to the tips of each rod where the pain is most severe and down each side of my spine. This was going to be the last of the Bupivacaine shots if there was once again little effect. However, we saw immediate and significant improvement with decreased pain and increased mobility. I kept a journal for each session. I would rank my pain in the morning and evening from 0 - 10, with 10 being the worst pain imaginable. Generally my pain in the worst areas, neck, trapezius, rhomboids, and lower left back, hovers around 4-5 continuously with regular spikes reaching 6-7 and occasionally worse. For the 3rd session, the… pain in my rhomboids immediately dropped. The right dropped to 1-2, the left dropped to a 3-4, and the lower back was much less stiff and dropped to a 4. I even started sleeping well and my physical therapist noticed marked improvement in not just my mobility, but my general attitude and energy level too. With the most recent set of shots we saw even more progress as we where able to focus on the lower back vs the shoulders and neck.
