Dr. Jeremy Paul Holdsworth, MD

This man is dangerous as he has directly harmed my health and prevented my access to care. I have such deep PTSD from how this man harmed me that I no longer can bring myself to even think about going to another PCP. Not only that, but he and his coworkers BLOCKED me from getting another primary care. I outright had to cancel my insurance as they ran me in a circle claiming I could not get another PCP. This was intentional. The deep trauma has left me crippled and unable to even help myself as this man failed and neglected me. He said that because I was a "young healthy female" (based off of my APPEARANCE- NOT TESTS.) - THAT ANY SYMPTOMS WERE IN MY HEAD. Told me he would get me a referral to a ENT even tho "it wouldn't do any good" according to him. This was a lie. He never sent such a referral. I had to call and find my own- which low and behold- they immediately found that I DID have a condition that he negligently turned a blind eye to...instead citing that bc I was a young female… that it MUST be in my head and be anxiety. The MONSTER LITERALLY PRESCRIBED ME AN ANTI DEPRESSANT FOR EAR ISSUES AND VERTIGO BECAUSE HE AND HIS BIAS PINNED MY VERY REAL SYMPTOMS ON BEING MAKE BELIEVE. This is bias. Discrimination. Sexism. The list goes on. One day I will have them held accountable in a court of law when I feel I can face a doctor again. I can prove every bit of this in court. There's no hope left for me but I only intend to scream as loud as I can so he can never harm another woman that tries to trust a physician.

After having him as my primary doctor for over a year, I've realized that Jeremy P. Holdsworth does not know how to do his job. He genuinely does not care. You tell him you have a sleep issue and you think it might be a specific disorder, he just puts his arms up like, "welp okay not sure what you want from me" and you have to ask HIM to refer you to a sleep doctor who actually knows their job, instead of him automatically doing so himself. I asked him to refer and his face..."oh yeah I can do that" like come on, dude. You tell him you've been experiencing fatigue and you're not quite sure why, you think you have some ideas, and his response: "welp not sure you want me to do about it" like uh...maybe help me figure out what's going on??? I've had many other visits where it's just a rush, he asks a bunch of questions, you answer them, he says, "well alright have a good day" and suddenly he's gone before you know it and didn't even address your issue. I don't think Jeremy knows… he's a doctor. He seems to think his primary job is to rush you out as quickly as possible, not actually help you with any medical issues. Find someone else. I thought the positive reviews were going to be true, too. They're not.

My husband and I are both patients of Dr Holdsworth’s and have been for years-~We are In our late 60s and early 70s-He is such a nice person with such kindness-He never rushes us and gives us his complete attention-He makes sure we have every question answered and is always polite-His diagnosis is always correct -He makes sure we get the injections we need such as flu shots and pneumonia injection-His office staff is nice as well and we never have to wait over 10-15 minutes-We would never go anywhere else-Janet Rushing-

Dr Holdsworth has been my Dr for a number of years and also treats my husband-He is patient,kind and very compassionate-He treats me for the pain of my arthritis as well as colds,infections etc-He advises me of the importance of getting injections to prevent serious illness as I get older-He has a very calm manner -I would never go to anyone else and consider myself and my husband to be very fortunate to have him as our physician.

I have been a patient with Dr.Holdsworth for almost 20 years. I was one of his first new patients when he came to Wilmington Physicians. Through the years, I have found that Dr. Jeremy has an excellent manor, and his knowledge is very, very extensive. He has been very helpful to me as I have been aging, and has treated me with great respect. The overall office staff, and CMA Jeff, are very cordial, and have an abundance of medical background, to assist any, and all patients that are seen. I would very highly recommend this medical practice, and Dr.Holdsworth, to anyone looking for an extremely competent staff of medical personnel.

Dr Holdsworth is a thorough doctor who listens attentively. He is not an alarmist and explains medical issues in an easy to understand way, using facts, offering alternatives and focuses on patient concerns

This Dr. is rude. appears to treat women patients rudely.--if at all. I will not go back-he prescribed a med for a serious ( I felt) infection which did nothing and I went to see him 5 times in his office and still have a lingering cough..will not go back-he needs lessons in bed side manners PLUS politness.

Met Dr. Holdsworth 3 years ago after suffering with indigestion for 2 years which I had learned to live with. He cured it in 2 days. Now have annual checkups and follow his recommendations about various shots, diet, health practices closely.
