Dr. Jeremy Neil Meisel, MD

I have seen Dr. Meisel for the past few years. He is friendly, spends as much time with you as you need and explains everything, even sometimes drawing pictures to help you understand. He has a great office staff (I go to the Douglasville office). I highly recommend Dr. Meisel.

This was by far the worst doctor's appointment I have ever been to in my entire life. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism in my entire I have I was diagnosed with a sleep disorder in my early twenties I have suffered for many years and found little that helps. However when my neurologist of 15 years suddenly retired and I also bought a house in another city I had to shift to finding another Specialist to follow my condition. After a year of unsuccessful treatment with a new doctor I finally worked up the courage to find another one made the drive 25 miles away to see dr. Meisel. He treated me as though I were criminal. He insinuated that I was attempting to defraud his practice with fake sleep studies and with documents regarding my medications while I had already filled out releases and requests for other doctors to send them my records. I did bring copies of my own but he insinuated those were false also. I have never been so embarrassed in my heart entire life and… although he gave me another appointment I don't intend to go back. I would rather sleep the rest of my life away and never get out of bed than to be ever treated that way again. I'm so discouraged. I wish I had never gone.

Talks over patients and doesn't let them explain why they're even seeing a doctor. Always over an hour passed the scheduled appointment before you even see the doctor then he rushes the minimal 5 mins you get with him.
