My friend had dangerously high blood pressure and an uncontrollable pulse. Despite Dr. Miles' best efforts, his condition continued to deteriorate—he lost the ability to walk and speak, and his health declined rapidly. But Dr. Miles never gave up. He didn’t just focus on the heart—he sought the expertise of specialists from various fields, including gastroenterology and neurology, and ordered extensive testing to uncover the underlying causes. There were days when it seemed my friend wouldn’t make it, yet Dr. Miles remained steadfast. He visited nearly every day, and on the rare occasions when he couldn’t, he… ensured that one of his practice partners checked in. Through his unwavering dedication and the support of the incredible Hackensack team, my friend made a remarkable recovery. Today, despite having faced cancer in multiple locations, heart complications, and the eventual discovery of myasthenia gravis, he is almost fully healthy. Dr. Miles' persistence, care, and expertise played a vital role in his recovery. Witnessing Dr. Miles' commitment firsthand, I knew I wanted him as my own cardiologist. Having seen many doctors before, I can confidently say that choosing Dr. Miles was one of the best decisions I have made. His office staff is professional, welcoming, and incredibly helpful.
