Dr. Jeremy Edward Revell, MD

He is reckless and irresponsible. He has over prescribed and incorrectly prescribed two people I am close to that caused more serious mental issues, loss of jobs and abuse to family members. He prescribed narcotics and other addictive Rx to people who are known heroin and/or adderall addicts. He has ruined lives.

Looked strung out on drugs

WOW is all I can say I have been going here almost 2 years... I was recommended by a friend....I have been to so many different docs! And to say the least he has been amazing...I have a bad back so I was on pain pills for a long time...Well my last doc from a PAIN MANAGMENT CLIC just took me off after years....no weaning nothing. So I I herd someone tell me about Suboxone....I check them out he told me that Suboxone is also used as pain management.Let me tell you I have been on this seug for over a year and it has been more helpful then any other pain meds and I don't have any of the crappy sides effect.... people automatically assume because ur on these that ur a druggie!!! No and I'm tired of people slamming and judging!! Revell goes above and beyond he diagnosed me with ADD finally and you know what I wish I met with him sooner because growing up I never could never past a test in high school and college....I have 2 degrees in the medical field and all that hard work I couldn't… past my state board exams...I knew something was wrong but docs assume the worse and thing ur just trying to get drugs.Not revell he genuinely cares and gets so upset when I tell him all the money I spent and horrible treatment I have had...he researches allot. He will even send u articles about the things u have and medicines and vitamins that can help..People keep complaining about the wait time....BUT THATS NOT HIS FAULT. The people scheduling know how much detail and time he takes with his patients then they shouldn't schedule so many in one day.people complain about having to wait or they complain about doc not caring no one is ever happy.....REVELL IS THE BEST OF THE BEST. And I can honestly say that because I have been to many pain and depression docs....He finds the root of the problem!!! Recommend him 100 percent

It is vital psychiatrists stay current with research which he does each visit working with you to adjust meds.

Be ashamed of yourself. Dr. Revell is the best out there. Look at the studies showing Cbd oil and effects on different psychiatric and neurological disorders. Look at the safety profiles as well. He probably took you off topamax. Ask your “Duke neurologist” how effective this medication is in mood and seizure disorders. I was on it and nearly failed the family business. He explained he did research on this medication which made bipolar disorder patients worse and DECREASED IQ 10-20 points! I’m sure your neurologist was never told by the sales rep that brings lunch that this is an issue. A garbage seizure medication that did not find a niche for seizures and the drug company attempting to find other uses for this Med. Throw it out there for bipolar disorder, migraines and weight loss. Have you kids or your or decrease 20 points and fail school work etc. Do your due diligence before you spam!!!!

Most capabable doc in town. Will find the time to spend with our family. Comprehensive, leaves no stone unturned. Genetics labs etc. highly recommended. Only issue is wait as often overbooked and not willing to compromise time with clients. Office staff leaves to be desired but he does not schedule run or own this practice. They need to update their systems and get more organized. You can’t find a more genuine intelligent and cutting edge provider.

Most knowledgeable and considerate doctor ever. Integrative and great . Office staff needs work.

I consulted dr. Revell after going through all options in treatment. I have sent my child to the Menninger cliniic, John Hopkins, and the Ahaman center paying close to $500k (sounds crazy but needed help and wanted the best). After my child got worse with my 50k plus trip to the Ahman center and all the medications, scans and supplements. A friend had mentioned him. He was more thorough and took time with my family. Ordered tests that no one had addressed before and genetic testing which revealed a lot. I had my child on topamax for migraines and “bipolar” disorder. He mentioned that topamax decreased cognitive functioning by 10-20 points and ACTUALLY DID THE STUDY. This medication as well as trileptal had made my kid worse Ironically the topamax was also prescribed by a duke neurologist. He was apologetic about the wait time, but he was as frustrated as me. He explained he does not own the office, they load his schedule bc of demand and spends time with patients not like other docs… who spend a second throw out a med then leave. The office staff needs help. How dare you say he should lose his license! He saved my child and families life. So if he recommend cbd oil as a possible integrative treatment option or any other integrative treatment, he knows what he is doing. Look up cbd oil in articles done by the nih. They know a lot more than you. I think he is the hidden gem in town. I feel bad for him for getting needless complaints from people that are clueless like you or bashing him for a bad office staff. Less stars allows less awareness which is fine by me. I have recommended him to any family or loved one that needs help.

I have been more than happy with Dr. Revell. He is the most kind and caring Dr. He is also very intelligent and up on all the lastest medications and therapys.

Dr. Revell saw my child for five minutes her first day in a residential setting. He made a diagnosis which he did share with me. However, after that, there was no communication at all. She was put on a powerful drug that I had to ok with a nurse. I told the nurse and her primary therapist that I wanted to speak with him regarding this choice of med and side effects. I never got a call. When I did call him early on, he acted annoyed and said he would call me the next day; I am still waiting for that call. I am a parent who is extremely concerned about what type of medication my child takes. I consulted with another very well- known child psychiatrist ( she is unfortunately not affiliated with the residential program) who questioned the safety and effectiveness of this drug for her disorder. I have never had my child put on a medication without speaking to the doctor first.
