Dr. Jeremy Tonkin, MD

Doctor Tonkin was a great doctor to me he showed compassion for his patients and was very friendly.

Dr. Jeremy B Tonkin made me feel extremely uncomfortable. He wouldn't look me in the eyes and stared down at his hands while I spoke to him. He didn't examine me in any way yet determined I needed surgery. When I asked about the procedure he wouldn't even take the time to explain it to me. He was only with me for a few moments yet still acted bothered by any question I asked. Dr. Tonkin even went as far as rolling his eyes at me. I didn't trust him because of his horrible bedside manner. Dr. Tonkin failed to inform me of any complications associated with the surgery he was proposing. That shows extreme negligence and a lack of respect to the patient.

Ignore the five star reviews, they have got to be fakes. This guy is a jerk. Egotistical, terrible bedside manner, dismissive and rude. Truly terrible Doctor. Avoid at all costs.

Dr.Tonkin was the on-call doctor. He sounded bothered by the interruption to his day. He was rude & condescending. Not impressed at all.

Arrogance is his biggest fault.

He has a I don't care why you are here demeanor. Exam was not as thorough as I though it should be. Criticized. Make you feel like leaving. Not going to go back--sarcastic, and I felt like and his actions shows that he is a person who can finish medical school and not give a Tihs.

At my visit with Dr. Tonkin, he was very attentive and answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you need to see a doctor, he is the one to see!

Dr Tonkin was very thorough & provided a lot of information addressing my concerns ... he also gave me multiple options for treatment ... I am already feeling relief with the brochures that were given to me ... wish I had made an appointment sooner

You have to get used to his sense of humor. He is smart, spends a lot of time talking with the patient, and offers lots of options and information. Downside is often when you ask questions he replies sarcastically. We think he is funny but as a doctor seeing every type of personality under the sun he should consider his audience. Overall, though, we like seeing him and life has improved. Use the online check-in option and you will only wait 5-10 minutes.

I would agree that the first visit felt a bit rushed and was not the best bedside manner however he did deliver results on an otherwise bleak situation. Although he comes off as a bit standoffish he is still a very knowledgeable doctor with a kind of timid sense of humour that eventually put me at ease. I wouldnt mind having him as my all the time general care doctor though the problem is now resolved thanks to him. ð??? grateful.
