Dr. Jerina Gani, MD

Dr. Gani is the best doctor I've ever had. She takes her time with me and listens to my concerns. I've never had an issue seeing her or felt like I wasn't receiving great care. Highly recommend!

Dr. Gani has a caring and professional. She takes u seriously and listens to my concerns. She is not dismissive. Dr. Gani has an excellent grasp of concerns for this senior citizen.

Dr. Gani is excellent. She really listens to what you have to say, spends plenty of time with you and in my experience has been very accurate with diagnoses. She knows exactly what tests to order if necessary (not too many, not too few) to get the critical information needed. She is very pleasant to deal with, has an excellent bedside manner and very nice personality. She is thorough and on time. Highly recommend her.

I first met Dr. Gani when my own physician was unavailable for an appointment. I had experienced dissatisfaction with the other dr. but hadn't taken the time to make a change. I was thrilled when I met Dr. Gani. She was great from the very beginning. She listened to my issues, asked me various questions, questioned certain aspects of my medical history, talked with me intelligently about options and possibilities and from the beginning cultivated a relationship with me of mutual respect, caring and collaboration. For the first time ever, I had a physician who responded to phone messages (and even answered a direct phone call when she was not with a patient). I couldn't believe it! She remembered me every time I came in, we chatted about things, she made appropriate inquiries into my personal life, how my family was, how my children were doing, etc. She always followed up every time she said she would, including after referrals to specialists with whom she really didn't have to follow… up. She did it anyway and would call me with updates. She is clearly a highly skilled physician, well read and informed, facile with technology (my former medical records were chicken scratch on scrap paper; I now have proper online medical notes and records), connected in the medical community to high quality specialists and an empathic person and good listener. She always spent plenty of time with me and her schedule was always close to on time (not something I had experienced with the previous dr who was always LATE.)I highly recommend Dr. Gani.

As my primary physician, I found Dr.Gani to be good listener, efficient, studdied my case history, recommended tests to enable her to find the cause of my problem and made the correct diagnosis of my problem. She was also able to help in understanding my physical and emotional status and worked around it.

When I went into Dr. Gani for a physical exam, she suggested that I take a battery of tests. "This is the only time of the year these tests will be covered under your insurance," she assured me. Well guess what? They were not covered under my insurance. I ended up owing the lab $460 for one visit--a routine physical exam. Repeated calls to the clinic were not returned by Dr. Gani. Avoid at all costs.
