Dr. Jeroen Peter Vanderhoeven, MD

Went above and beyond the call of duty! Was my Doctor all the way through my pregnancy and delivered my Mono-Di Twins. I could not have asked for a better doctor, he was very compassionate and proactive. I was high risk and knew that I was recieving the best care for myself and my twins! I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

I met Dr. Vanderhoeven in my 3rd trimester because my ob wasn't available. Just after one appointment I knew he was who I wanted to deliver my son. He makes sure your 100% comfortable with something before doing it and welcomes any question you have. He lets you be in control of what you want for your pregnancy and birth by following your birth plan as long as it's safe for you and baby.I switched my care to him after that appointment and he took great care me and baby all the way through the birth. During birth, my son's head was in an awkward position and instead of just grabbing the forceps, (which I told him I didn't want unless my son's life was in danger) Dr. Vanderhoeven was able to manipulate him until he got him out safe and sound. Keeping my husband and I informed in a calm, non-alarming way the whole time.I could not have asked for a better 1st birth experience, we'll definitely be using Dr. Vanderhoeven for our next baby!The UW is also a wonderful facility to give birth in… and the nurses are just AMAZING!

The best doctor - period.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Vanderhoeven. He is overseeing my 2nd high-risk pregancy and has made this pregancy 100% better than my first. As a healthcare provider myself, I appreciate his attention to detail, holistic approach, use of evidence based clinical decision making, and generalized compassion and empathy at the bedside. I am thankful each time I leave his office.

I can't say enough positive things about dr. V. He has a fantastic bedside manner, has a great sense of humour, is very personable. He also knows his stuff and will really listen and take patient needs/ wants into account. No conceit or pretension and will truly be an advocate for his patients. Hands down the best doctor I've seen.
