Dr. Jerome Jeffrey Graber, MD

The last 18 months with Graber and the team at UW is phenomenal. I feel well taken care of and leave each appointment equipped. Even when my scans my scans weren't optimal, I always left graber's office feeling better about everything. Something that really struck me about him was that one day before a slew of appointments, he saw me downstairs crying by the elevators, and took the time to sit with me for a while. I was in much better shape after that simple interaction early on in my diagnosis. I knew then I was in very good hands and felt safe. Thanks for being awesome, Dr Graber!

This is a war, a war against cancer, the patient, family and the doctor, everyone has an important role in this war. The patient of course, the family for support and comfort and the doctor for guidance, expertise and encouragement. In the beginning he was hopeful and discussed options, but after treatment failed he seemed to loose interest. Another reviewer said he acted like this was no big deal-that is just how he acted to us, what is going to happen is going to happen and there is nothing he can do about it-so next patient. He even said in the room where my son was that he probably had only a few weeks which through him into a deep depression. When asked if it was necessary to be so blunt he simply said that he had to tell the truth. This is not a person with great or even good bed side manners so good luck.

Dr Graber was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was my 1st appointment with him and he was very informative and took his time answering all of my questions. I would highly recommend

Dr. Graber has a sincere and positive way of caring for his patients. Two years ago my son was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had subsequent emergency surgery with a week in the ICU. Our entire family was devastated. Dr. Graber came into our lives with a calm and positive outlook for a real future! He discussed options and immediately suggested Proton radiation, which we feel saved my son's life! He's been honest and frank with answering of our questions. He instills confidence in us, and has literally given my son a new lease on life. Thank you!

One of the worst experiences ever! Very unprofessional. We are in one of the scariest situations of our lives and he acted like it was literally no big deal. Said my husband with stage 4 brain cancer "looked fine" and he refused to suggested a treatment coarse for just even though my husband's cancer was spreading, reason for the referral to him. Very arrogant. The entire appointment was confusing. It was a waste of time and energy and we will not be seeing him again. Very frustrating.

I would like to write a review based on my personal experience with Dr. Graber however I was unable to get an appointment with him despite a referral from my Oncologist and fellow Swedish doctor. Even though I am in remission from AML and am suffering from an acute neurological issue that is causing quite a bit of distress apparently the "notes" in my account at Swedish don't warrant his time. His nurse simply referred us to a pool of neurologists. This is after no one returned my message requesting an appointment 2 days ago, despite their message explicitly saying they would return calls. My wife had to call back today to be told that they wouldn't assist me. While I didn't meet the doctor I do feel this experience warrants a review and does meet your criteria that I did very ineffectively receive services from his office.

Dr. Graber is the BEST!!!

I have only seen this doctor once, but once was enough! I have had a lot of trouble getting simple forms completed (that are necessary for my employer) and on a couple of visits to the office regarding issues: 1) an horrible reaction to a medicine HE prescribed and 2) paperwork, he was quite rude. I will go elsewhere!

The only problem I have with this office is the receptionist Jen. If you call the office, she'll promise to call you back,..but will never call you back. Then if you call the next day, to tell her about this, she'll have a attitude. You have to constantly call her to remind her to call your insurance so you'll be approve for your MRI.
