When a surgeon taking my wife's appendix out botched it an cut her bladder open then could not repair it . Dr Marchuk was kind enough to drive to our town in the middle of the night to help . He is a very kind person and good Dr.

Well, to start off, I was provided a poor welcome by the receptionist. Then, as I was sitting patiently for my turn to be called back, I over-heard multiple CONFIDENTIAL conversations between nurses. They failed to keep patient confidentiality as office staff and nurses were discussing patients needs/complaints and surgery dates. Names were clearly spoken. This information was being discussed and I could hear it all clearly as I sat at the far end of the waiting room. Then, I was FINALLY called back after waiting 2 hours in the waiting room past my appointment time. The nurse who took me back was very rude and could care less that I was there. Threw some papers at me and said a doc would be in soon. I waited for 30 minutes and no one showed. I opened the patient room to the hallway and asked a nurse if I was forgotten about. When I asked how much longer it would be, I could clearly hear one nurse tell another "I don't know.. maybe another 15-20 minutes" with a VERY rude attitude. Since… it was now past 5:30 (my appt was at 2:50), I left without ever seeing the doctor. While I can't rate the doctor since I never saw him, I can rate the careless staff and lack for scheduling accordingly. Never once did I receive an apology for the doctor running late. Multiple times I was provided an attitude from the staff.So, in end, beware if you make an appt with Dr. Marchuk. You may be waiting a while. I missed almost half a day's work/pay at this office without receiving the treatment I was seeking.
