Dr. Jerome R Skelly

Do not see this DR. He is terrible. Rude, condescending and treated my father with zero respect. Oh and he doesn’t follow mask protocols and thinks the Covid-19 pandemic is a hoax?????. He works with at risk patients!

Dr Skellys bedside manner is atrocious. He spoke in a condescending manner to my family member and acted like he is the supreme being of all Dr. I was appalled how he barked orders to my older parent who has some processing problems as a residual from a stroke. He did not listen and makes blanket assumptions. Also, does not listen to what is being said by the patient. I would not recommend him to see anyone who has issues with memory, processing speed and cognitive issues.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Skelley for several years. He is easy to talk to and aids me in my health decisions and treatment for several chronic diseases. I recommend him highly.

Disappointed in him. Not respectful. Doesn't seem to care. At times downright rude. Why does Beacon continue to tolerate this behavior????

Dr. Skelly is one of the most thorough physicians I've ever seen. He cares a lot about his patients and wants to see them stay healthy. He definitely wants me to follow through on his recommendations and he is very straight forward. I have never found him to be rude. He's not a touchy-feely kind of doctor, but he is there when you need him and is great at handling complex medical situations.

I wouldn't send my worse enemy to see him. He was the rudest doctor I've ever seen and had NO bedside manner. I would rather die than EVER see him again.

Dictatorial. "God" complex. Unwilling to work with and becomes angry and combative when views or treatment questioned.

Uncaring. Doesn't take time to listen, but interupts and rushes through the appointment. Got an overwhelming sense right away that he wasn't taking me seriously. Can be very blunt and rude. Has no time to involve patient in being a part of the treatment decision. Explains nothing. Does not treat others with respect. Did not provide effective treatment for me. Unprofessional in his examinations--he just grabs and pokes at you unexpectingly while you're sitting in your street clothes in a chair next to him without telling you what he is doing first. Makes me feel very uncomfortable and has given me no reason to trust him. I am taking my buisness elsewhere. On a positive note, his nurse seems like a caring lady, the wait time is fairly short, and his office staff tend to be slightly kinder than average.
