Dr. Coltro is fantastic,, I used to work in a few hospitals as a respiratory therapist n when I see a doctor I never mentioned I wrked in hospital, so when I made schedules to see Doc. I have to admit he is top notch. So now he’s my family Doctor ????????, after he examined me I told him I used to b a respiratory therapist ( I’m retired cop now) so I know abt the way medical personnel are. His staff is great also,,, i I’ve in crown point, in now and yup I travel to see him. It’s well worth it!!! THANKS DOCTOR FOR BEING KIND, considerate n compassionate, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR WONDERFUL STAFF,,

Wonderful doctor

Dr. Coltro, although quite busy, takes the time to listen and think through your problems. He is willing to think outside of the box if necessary

After being my mothers doctor for over 10 years, Coltro sends her a letter saying he could no longer be her doctor and find a new one. My mother had 2 ER visits in last month, and was unable to get her heart meds on first visit since he didn't respond to hospital trying to reach him for about 10 hours on first visit. Her heart went into irregular rhythm. On second Er visit the following week, we had attending doc treat my mom while at the hospital since Coltro was not at the hospital.. Because we had another doctor treat my mom while she was in ER on second visit the following week, Coltro then sends a letter he can no longer be her doctor. I spoke to the receptionist in his office and she told me because my mother had someone else treat her in hospital that Coltro decided he would withdraw as being her primary. Since when does a patient not have a right to be treated by a second opinion doctor. He did this only 2 months after my mom lost her husband of 60 years and in very bad… health right now at the age of 79. He was so inconsiderate and rude in my opinion!!! Would never recommend this doctor to anyone as he is about as cold as a doctor can get in my opinion!!! Find a compassionate doctor who will have your best interest at heart.

My Diabetes was out of control Dr. Coltro Got me on the right track. I've been to so many diabetic speicalist and none of them helped me like Dr. Coltro has. The attention and love him and his staff show to myself and my family is wonderful. My children look forward in seeing my doctor and staff just as much as I. He believe in his patients and it shows in his actions.

Dr Coltro saved my dad's life over 17 years ago when no other Dr could figure out what was wrong. While my dad has since passed, Dr Coltro gave us another 15 wonderful years with him.

I went to Dr. Coltro, and within 5 minutes of seeing me, he suggested exercise and tylenol. I have had 7 surgeries in the last three years, where my tendons are ripping away from the bones. Then when he finally opened my file, he started talking about biologic drugs. Which I have already taken a few, with no results. How a doctor can go from exercise to biologic drugs in less than 10 minutes is very very scary.

Dr Coltro is the very finest doctor I have ever been treated by. He is knowledgeable, compasionate and carring. He has often gone out of his way to help. He literally saved my brothers life and has wonderfully treated my arthritus.
