Dr. Jerry Gray Gaston, DO

I was told by another surgeon that a nerve would need to be cut during the procedure. Dr Gaston assured me that that wasn't the case. He would be no where near the nerve and the feeling would be intact. The operation was done and I still have feeling. No numbness. The staff were friendly and made me feel at ease. At least. as at ease as you can be before they slice you open

Dr Gaston has a great bedside manner. He is very compassionate. I was in the hospital for diverticulitis. He was on top of my situation and gave me confidence in his ability, though he didn't explain my situation completely to me, I knew I had diverticulitis and an infection that was being treated by two IV antibiotics in the hospital for nine days. He did not tell me I had sepsis, but did bring in an Infectious Disease Dr. to deal with the sepsis. I read the sepsis diagnosis in the hospital report after I was released. He has also performed a colonoscopy for me, and took control of another bleeding problem on another hospital stay. He oozes confidence and has always taken great care of me. I would totally recommend him!

Dr. Gaston did a hernia repair on me and he was fabulous. He came into the room sat down and talked with me. He made me totally at ease. Answered every question I had in terms I could understand. Explained the whole procedure to me and was just amazing. His bedside manner was great. On the day of surgery he met with me right before hand and said everything would be okay and it was. I would recommend him any day!
