Dr. Jerry Hickman has been in the exclusive practice of orthodontics since 1967. He earned his B.A. degree from DePauw University and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery, with honors, from Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he also completed his post-graduate studies in orthodontics in 1967. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, signifying his commitment to excellence in orthodontics. He is a past president of the Indiana Association of Orthodontists, the Indiana Orthodontic Alumni Association and the Indianapolis District Dental Society. He has served as chairman of the Indiana University Orthodontic Peer Review Board and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthodontics at Indiana University School of Dentistry. He and his wife Sharla, a dental hygienist, are members of Community Church of Greenwood.
