We saw Dr. Meeks after we were discharged from the hospital for our first pediatric appointment. She is awesome! She actively anticipates concerns a new parent might have and helps frame anything that might be going on with our little one with appropriate context (ex: something is elevated but still within normal ranges; when to be concerned & what to look for). She also left us with plenty of time to ask follow up questions. She left us with options and guidance around confirming certain test results (ex: one could be expedited more than another but would be more uncomfortable for the newborn). My wife and I both feel like our newborn is in good hands with her.
