Everything about the appointments are fine, the wait, the staff, the atmosphere. But the Dr. is completely incompetent. I went to the office because of persistent bleeding. He perscribed me birth control pills and sent me on my way. Perfect. Or not... The day I started taking them I started throwing up. I threw up every day, 3+ times a day, for 3 months. It flabberhausts me that he never told me to stop taking them in those three months. I put trust in my doctor. They are supposed to know what is good for you. I even called multiple times explaining how severe it was. Finally when my 3 month appointment happened he switched medications and again, sent me on my way. By then it was just a common daily routine to throw up. The nausea and vomiting continued with the new medication, every day, for another 3 months. The nausea wasn't as severe so I was happy about that, but again, I told him what was happening, and nothing. During my next appointment my BP was very high and he thought it was… from the new birth control and then tried switching me to something else. Its been 11 months now and the nausea/vomiting only happens about 2-3 times a week. He tried perscribing me a new medication but I never took it. I switched doctors to hopefully figure out whats going on. The first visit to my new doctor, she has already diagnosed me with PCOS, something Dr. Pollard scheduled an Ultrasound for, but said I didn't have it. He has caused me so much pain, and I will never again see him. I now have an appointment to see a GI specialist because even without being on medication, my vomiting won't completely stop. I have multiple issues that were caused by that medication, and Dr. Pollard, because I was told it wasn't a problem, that it would stop. I never wrote this review because I didn't think it would help anyone, but I don't want someone else going through this. Today when I was gathering my information from Salem Hospital I went through my file and realized that there is NOTHING about my nausea or vomiting anywhere in the papers. I am completely shocked and upset that this wasn't properly documented. I am disgusted that all my pain, discomfort, time and money were put in to this and I have nothing to take from it.
