What a wonderful man. Figured out what other Doctor's overlooked.

An outstanding doctor is Dr. Jesse Tan with a wonderfully warm bedside manner and a surgeon extraordinaire! He totally removed my parathyroid adenoma and the scar will be invisible in a few months.

My nephew has been seeing Dr. Jesse Tan for over six years. He is covered under Medi-Cal. Perhaps this is why we have experienced the most unprofessional, incompetent, and inconsiderate treatment I have ever encountered in a doctor's office. Our appointments have been canceled or postponed innumerable times. Our phone calls are rarely returned when promised. Our insurance authorization forms have either been misplaced by office staff, or requested for the wrong service, or for the wrong dates, all resulting in further postponement of our appointments. When we have been fortunate enough to get an appointment, the wait times range from 2 to 5 hours, even though we arrive 30 minutes before our appointment time. I have to wonder, is this the Medi-Cal treatment? My own children have excellent insurance coverage and have always received impeccable care from their doctors and office staff. It is heartbreaking to watch my nine year old nephew suffer and wait for proper treatment.

so far so good, excellent Staff the Doctor really licent to my problem , I just have a Tympanoplastic surgery,,, Doctor was good, he use the Long Beach Memorial witch is one of the best Hospitals in the USA

i had a thyroid operation earlier and did a lot of searching for the right provider (i'm a pharmacist and have know many md's).....my primary care recommended Dr Tan and I couldn't be happier....he sees other members in my family as well....great md and a great person (that goes for his father as well)...as far as the office goes, all i can tell you is the staff has helped me get in when i did not have an appt...they helped me out when i had a bit of anxiety over a health issue....i think they're excellent overall

I saw Dr. Tan for a chronic sinus condition I have had for many years, and he was able to fix my problem. I now breathe much better through my nose. He was very professional and caring at all my office visits. More importantly, he was able to get the job done. He's definitely worth seeing!

The office is so inefficiently run. When I was getting scheduled for surgery, Pearl at the office did not hesitate discussing my bills due in front of the office for everyone to hear. I was so embarassed because she made it seem like I was unwilling to pay for anything- even my co-pay. If you look into the office, it is a hot mess with files and paperwork strewn everywhere. Wait time is ridiculously long. On my first visit I was seen at 12nn for a 10am appt. I probably spend 10 mins with Dr Tan in an open office with staff going in and out. Nevermind HIPAA policies or my own discomfort having everybody hear my diagnosis. I sometimes hesitate asking him personal questions thinking other people will be hearing them as well. I wish there was another ENT icould see.

Took way to long and also, people with appointments at 10am don't get in till 12 at times. the room is always filled

If the office is any reflection of the abilities of this doctor, then you may want to look elsewhere. The office is old and dingy. The staff is inefficient and rude.
