A grave warning about Dr. Jesse Viner and the Yellowbrick program: Dr. Jesse Viner, the founder and CEO of Yellowbrick, is, in my experience, not a healer but a dangerous manipulator who exploits vulnerable individuals under the guise of psychiatric care. What’s most disturbing is that the harm done under his direction is not accidental—it appears to be intentional, systematic, and profit-driven. Patients are often prescribed powerful medications they do not need, solely to induce sedation and compliance. During my time there, it was not uncommon to see young people so heavily medicated they could barely stay awake. This isn’t treatment—it’s chemical restraint, used to suppress autonomy and foster dependence on the program. This sedation is part of a broader pattern: patients are isolated, disempowered, and emotionally destabilized so that they become reliant on the Yellowbrick system—and on Dr. Viner himself. Meanwhile, their insurance and financial resources are drained. When… there’s nothing left to take, patients are discarded, often in worse psychological condition than when they arrived. Dr. Viner presents himself as a visionary, but the reality is far more sinister. Underneath the polished branding is a program that has caused deep, lasting harm. There are stories—too many—of individuals who left traumatized, broken, or worse. The emotional, financial, and psychological toll cannot be overstated. If this review saves even one person from falling into the hands of this dangerous psychopath, then writing it will have been worth it. Please be careful. I discovered after seeing this Psychiatrist he is just a legalized drug dealer and his dangerous SSRIs and Antidepressants do NOT work and actually harmed me. I am no longer addicted to this garbage and now understand why returning military service personnell are dong themselves in - It is the wicked withdrawal symptoms of the benzos. -- insomnia, akathesia, brain dysfunction, chemical labotomy,, etc. Run away from this guy!!!!!!

Please, please stay away from this man. Especially if you are female, or getting help for a female child/relative. He is a textbook narcissist hiding behind a fancy degree and pricy setup. As a teen i was “treated” in an all female intensive group therapy program he ran, and the things I witnessed were beyond chilling - he doled out medication whether it was wanted or not, and he once pulled a severely underweight anorexic patient off all her medications at once as punishment for her admitting she’d relapsed for one night on alcohol. She could have died, I still remember her shaking and cold-sweating in our therapy session. This man has blood on his hands. I had to get PTSD therapy as an adult to undo his damage. Find actual help, not this man.

Dr. Viner seemed like a caring man, but in the end I ended up worse because of him. I was put on a medicine that multiple psychiatrists have said to me after "you had no right to be on that." He never told me the side effects and even worse, he shamed me because of them. I hate the fact that he thinks that he gets to think he saved me because after I came off the medicine, everything was worse. I became to be aware that he had re-traumatized me after a previous trauma. I also then went back to my eating disorder quickly because of naturally losing weight after this medicine caused a rapid major weight gain. I also became more OCD to make up for the side effects and the shame he caused.

My son was suicidal and went through 4 hospitalizations at 3 hospitals and an outpatient program before going to Yellowbrick. He was suicidal and none of the medications worked. Yellowbrick was really a turning point for him and he is much better since. He is back at college and much happier. It was expensive but it turned his life around. Dr Viner is very devoted. I called daily and visited frequently and they never made me feel like a pain. My son is happy and functional and I don't think he would be if we hadn't gone to Yellowbrick.
