Dr. Jessica Panteha Byrd, MD

Dr. Byrd is a very thorough and caring doctor and I feel blessed that I've been in her care. I have been seeing her since 2004 and I couldn't ask for better treatment from her and her wonderful staff. I love how compassionate she is and I feel I can discuss anything with her. Dr. Byrd tells it like it is if I need to make a change in diet or meds, and is encouraging when my efforts are successful. We are making a move out of the area and I regretfully have to leave her excellent care, but will be too far away to stay with her practice. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Byrd to anyone who wants an exceptional doctor!

Dr. Byrd is AWESOME....she is always sooooo cheerful. on a serious note Dr. Byrd is very accurate with my diagnosis. I have been with her for 10 years and she takes her profession very serious and holds me accountable for my health. She make sure I take my health seriously. I would not change her for any other doctor.

Dr. Byrd is a saint in my opinion. The difference is that she CARES for me....not just there to treat me. I don't care if she is running a bit late, because I know that when she is in the room with me, she will LISTEN to me, and give me whatever time I need with her. Many times she has just listened to me cry on her shoulder and wrapped her arms around me when I was in tears. She is a jewel among doctors....one that I want to be there when I am leaving this world.

I have been going for the same issues for almost a year & still trying to figure out the issue. I believe we have narrowed it down but still won't know that for another 2 weeks when I have an ultrasound, then another week before I see her again. Another major issue that I have is being ignored. I called & spoke to her nurse today and asked for a return call, I did not hear back from them. This upsets me very much because I don't know who or where I am suppose to go to get the issue taken care of! They are all very sweet but I need answers faster! My cousin saw Costello for an issue several times & it was diagnosed as stomach flu etc, when after returning several times she was told she had stage 4 cancer & it was to late to do anytime. It took about 8 months to get this diagnosis... Early detection didn't help her because they didn't find it & thats what scares me! It shouldn't take a year to figure out what is going on! I have very good health insurances so money isn't the issue!
