Dr. Jessica Marianne Demay, MD

Dr. Demay did not do her job in my case. With competent ultrasounds, our diagnosis should have been identified much earlier. This unfavorable review has been confirmed by multiple physicians and nurses since I stopped seeing her. She walked into our initial appointment without knowledge of my medical history or any information about me at all.....I had to correct her multiple times. In subsequent appointments she did not monitor the appropriate things as she should have with a "high risk" case. Once we had a diagnosis, she did not very helpful on informing us what the diagnosis meant. We had to learn most things off of google and make appointments with other specialists to get accurate information. She failed us as a high risk doctor...and I would not recommend her. I am transferring out of Virginia Woman's Center completely because of this experience. If you can't trust their doctors to be competent and catch issues before they become life threatening......what's their… purpose?

I was referred to Dr. DeMay due to some complications in my third pregnancy. I switched to her practice because they were so great.
