She went on to pursue a year of research at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston before matriculating to Texas A&M Health Sciences College of medicine for medical school. It was there in Temple, TX at Scott and White Hospital where she met her husband, Robert. She then went on to complete a General Surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center, followed by a Plastic Surgery Fellowship at UT Southwestern.Providing high quality patient care is the central tenant to Dr. Goodwin's practice. …She treats her patients as extensions of her family, and takes personal interest in their journeys.
