No bedside manner at all. Does not listen. 3 mo to get an appt and 4-1/2 hrs driving while she ate lunch during my appt time. Not the least bit interested in me as a patient and did not let me explain symptoms at all, even though I had a referral. (My dr suspected occipital neuralgia, cervical spondylosis/arthritis, nerve impingement, carpal tunnel--actually gave me hope that I might get some relief by seeing a so-called specialist). Feel compelled today to warn others: save yourself the aggravation. She had her diagnosis before I could even explain my symptoms (chronic persistent daily headaches, neck, shoulder, arm, hand pain, burning & swelling) and snapped me right off in the middle, then was in a big hurry to leave. Diagnosis: no treatment needed. Chalk another one up for our great healthcare and insurance money machine. I'm done with doctors.

The BEST bedside manner I have EVER encountered!

Dr. Hirschhorn took care of my father from time to time. Although the family knew his health was slowly deteriorating, Dr. Hirschhorn told my father that he was dying (in these exact words). My Dad lost hope at that point and stopped fighting. He passed away 3 weeks after that day. My father was of sound mind at all times, she basically told my father to stop wasting his time fighting for his life. I will never forget her words and even though we tried to tell her to please be quiet, she didn't care or cared about my Dad's feelings. To her another patient, another Kaiser # but to me the best man that ever lived, my Dad.
