Dr. Jessica Mercedez Orbe, MD

Just recently our daughter, Sabrina, was very sick and needed hospitalization. We met Dr. Orbe during her emergency visit that led up to the hospital stay and have since followed up with her numerous times for checkups and advice. She spent an abundance of time with us: explained procedures, next steps and did a very thorough exam. She personally contacted us numerous times to check on the baby and to give guidance, and surveyed her peers to help us find the best specialist possible for our daughter. In a world where insurance reimbursement is much lower than it should be and the doctors are pressured to give a 5 min exam, a prescription and a handshake, Quality care is almost impossible to come by. As a doctor myself, I am truly inspired by the level of care my daughter has received from Dr. Orbe and feel compelled to write this review as a thank you and to tell other parents of my experience.

Dr Orbe has been our kids pediatrician since birth. Her office always fits us in and as a mother herself she is always a step ahead! We return to see a trusted friend as well as physician. A+

Dr. Orbe is a fantastic pediatrician - a true gem! She really is a nice, kind person who will give you and your family all the time you need, but at the same time her office is very efficient and professional. She really is interested in discussing whatever you want to, even if it's not entirely a medical issue (sleep, development, etc.) She seems like just a good person, and not someone trying to make money. Great staff and operation.

Dr. Orbe has been my daughters pediatrician since she was born, she will be 1 next month and I would never ever change Doctors. She is kind, compassionate and patient. She is absolutely wonderful with my daughter. My husband and I could not ask for a better doctor. We trust her completely. I would definitely recommend her to everyone!

Dr. Orbe is an excellent pediatrician. She has a great bedside manner with small children and parents. She is an excellent diagnostician and is direct and concise in her treatment plans. She is the perfect combination of professional and caring!

I finally found a doctor who makes sure I understand my child's condition when he is sick and actually talks to my child first to see how he is doing! He is only two! Most often, when my child is sick she gives me advice on home care and only sometimes, recommends more specialized care when my child needs it. Unlike other doctors I have encountered she is not quick to rush me out the door with a prescription in hand that may be unnecessary. Because of this approach, I trust her completely

We travl from Brooklyn just to see dr orbe. She is wonderful and we trust her and her approach to pediatrics.

I have been searching for Dr Orbe and finally found her! She use to care for my children when she worked at Montefiore in the Bronx. She is well worth the trip! Very knowlegable, caring and easy to talk too. My kids made me look for her! They were not happy with their previous pediatrician. Now that means something!

Dr. Jessica Orbe has been taking care of my older son since he was 3 months old. Dr. Orbe has demonstrated the same caring and professional manners since we first met- twelve years ago. My son calls her 'the best doctor ever'. She is simply more than nice- she is genuine. She always addresses our concers, is prompt at returning calls and does not disregard any of our concers.
