Dr. Jessica A Ortolano, MD

Dr. Ortolano is a great doctor. She takes her time explaining everything and answers all my questions. She was great in the delivery room!

Dr. Ortolano and her staff are pretty awesome. Dr. Ortolano is attentive to her patients and is very thorough. I would highly recommend. Also I never had to wait probably 10 minutes of less to be called back to the exam room.

Dr. Ortolano is an amazing obgyn. She Is very thorough and explains everything to you. She listened to me. Also her staff are pretty sweet as well. I never had to wait very long to be called back or wait in the exam room. She’s very prompt she came in in the room just as the MA left with both appointments I had. I just love them.

Dr. Ortolano was my daughters OB and I attended every visit except for one since my son-in-law works out of town and couldn't make the appointments easily. Never did she rush through our visits and she always took time to answer questions. Only once did we have to wait for her to return from the hospital and the remainder of our wait times never exceeded more than 15-30 minutes from arrival time until she entered the room. I really don't understand the negative comments on this thread. Dr. Ortolano is an amazing doctor that very much cares about her patients. Her staff members are always friendly, patient and helpful. Babies come when they are ready and at times in an emergency setting so an occasional wait is normal. I would think that the people with negative comments would want her undivided attention when she is at the hospital delivering THEIR baby and others are in the office waiting for her return.

Probably the worst doctor in Hendrick, the wait to time to get seen is at least a hour and half past appointment time. Go to any doctor except her you will watch countless other people get seen and leave before you ever get called back.

I think she is a great doctor! Very informative and clear when you have questions. All of the ladies in the office are sweet people.

So glad I am not the only one with a bad experience. Wait time is horrible and the one time I showed up 5 min late they made me reschedule. When I have always had to wait over an hour just to get into an exam room. Lady at the window is horrible and needs to find a job where she doesn't interact with people!

If you like waiting 2 hours in the waiting room and another hour in the exam room just to have a Dr. O come in say she has to make this quick because she has a dinner to attend with her husband and air force buddies then she is the right Dr for you. I cant tell you how many times I have gotten calls to reschedule appointments it happens every single time I make one. When I finally am able to get into the office I find out that she is stuck in a surgery so i may have to wait a little bit after two hours of waiting i ask is there an update they call and find out that she needs to cancel all her morning appointments. I haven't been back and will not be going back. I have also reported her for fraud because they tried to charge my insurance for a visit that they had to reschedule.

The doctor herself is great but the appointment scheduling and times are horrible. If you like sitting in a waiting room an hour past your appointment time this is the doctor for you.

Went for my first ever woman exam and waited for two hours to get in and then once inside the exam room awaiting her to enter she popped in and then constantly answered her cell phone and stepped out while I sit there waiting to be examanined. After the humiliation on my health concerns not matters was over she never explained to me if they would contact me with results. Horrible experience.
