I had a procedure scheduled with this doctor and she spent the entire pre-surgery call trying to find reasons and convince me NOT to have the procedure done. She took no time getting to know me as a patient or attempting to understand why I elected to have the surgery. Patients are people first and she does not seem to understand that fact. Her bedside manner is lacking considerably. Would not recommend.

In discussing birth control options I expressed that maybe my husband could get a vasectomy, and basically asked her if could tell me more about that option. She made the comment "I didn't go go to school and complete my residency to work with men" which made me feel embarrassed for asking. I don't think she meant to be rude but she has very poor bedside manner. Maybe that will improve with experience.
