Dr. Jessica R. Stark

I have been a patient of Dr Stark and team since 2020 suffering from a severe case of degenerative disc disease/osteoarthritis resulting in bilateral pain in both legs and arms. Initially, Dr. Stark sought to relieve pain in the most conservative fashion, a laminotomy and working with a Pain Management practice. Although this initially was successful in alleviating symptoms, it sadly was short-lived due to my osteoarthritic condition being well advanced for my age group. Unfortunately, more aggressive intervention was required to combat the radicular pain in my arms and legs caused by the stenosis/peripheral nerve pressure. Review of imaging reports by Dr Stark indicated multi-level cervical and lumbar fusion procedures were necessary to relieve the nerve pressure causing this radiculopathy. I will say with great confidence that Dr Stark’s remedy was tremendously successful in creating room for the nerves and relieving all radicular symptoms. The result wasn’t immediate, but in… time the pain abated and resolved as the nerves healed and regenerated. From a patient perspective, the clinic works incredibly well together with quick responses on everything from appointment scheduling to prescription refills. Nurse Practitioner Jill is a first-rate asset to the team with a willingness to help in any way possible, possessing wide and deep knowledge about conditions and procedures which she pulls from her years of field practice. She does a magnificent job and a very large part of the value proposition of the practice. In short, my experience with Dr Stark is incredibly positive in every aspect, from clinical visits where she listens and explains conditions, to diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes. Peer group respect is always the hardest to come by, but my numerous interactions with physicians whom she knows and works with, hold her in the highest regard as a tremendously skilled practitioner…..I wholly agree and strongly recommend her to anyone needing elective spinal surgery.

No patient should feel forgotten when they are hurting! Waited over a year! Certain team members are unwilling or unable to do their job in regards to communicating with other doctors and insurance. Very expensive waste of time.

Dr. Stark is very professional. I have the smallest scar and have all of my function back. She is amazing! Highly recommend if you need spine surgery.

From my first visit I knew I was in good hands with Dr. Stark. She took the time to explain my condition and options for treatment. This quality of service and compassion never changed, even after my surgery. She and her staff were very quick to answer any question or concerns I had post surgery via phone or the portal. If you are looking for a surgeon that has you quality of life as their top priority, Dr. Stark is the first person I would recommend to anyone. I can’t thank her enough for the improvements I’ve experienced already.

Dr Jessica Stark is an incredible physician both highly competent and extremely talented. From the outset, I was extremely impressed with her commanding knowledge of my case and her ability to convey easy-to-understand explanations of the diagnosis, sharing imaging to aid with task. Furthermore, the same happened with the recommended surgical solution, a laminotomy, outlining the procedure, what to expect including recovery time and outcome. She was the third Doctor I had consulted about my medical condition of spinal stenosis and nerve compression resulting in right-leg muscle atrophy. Her medical opinion to correct this paralleled that of the second Doctor, my brother-in-law who is an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Spinal Disease at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN so I was more than 100% confident I had the right Doctor. The medical follow-ups have been amazing, and I am very pleased with the outcome. Jill, her Physician’s Assistant is an incredible asset to the… team, and they work extremely well together. Jill was also extremely helpful during the appointments but also after surgery. She has a plethora knowledge about medications, procedures, and helped me work through some issues the first week after surgery. She’s great!!!

Dr. Jessica Stark is an amazing Dr.! We had minimal wait and the appointment times were easy to schedule. Her office staff were friendly and her team was amazing. If we are ever in need of a neurologist again, she is the first one we will see.

Dr. Starks saved my husband from being paralyzed. He was sent to her by another surgeon because the surgery was very difficult.
