Jessica Tate, LMFT

I am the Co-founder and owner of Thoughtful Counseling Group. I have 12 years of experience in community mental health working in different settings providing mental health services to individuals and families who suffered from domestic violence, trafficking, sexual abuse, physical abuse, and emotional abuse. I am also a veteran and had the privilege of working with Yellow Ribbon helping families and service members through pre-deployment and deployment stresses with resources, training, psychological assistance, and mental health. As a veteran, I received two Army Commendation Medals for exceptionally meritorious service, unprecedented professionalism, outstanding performance, and contribution while in service. In my work in community mental health, I was recognized several times and awarded for continued professionalism, dedication, and compassion with difficult high-risk youth at Human Pioneer Services. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy …(AAMFT). I am EMDR certified, WA approved Supervisor, and an approved AAMFT Supervisor under mentorship.
