Dr. Jessica Valenti, MD

There was a 10 minute grace period and I was stuck in traffic. I was in the office 10 minutes late. The front desk decided to say I was 11 so they wouldn’t have to see me. I have been so kind with them because they have had to reschedule me multiple times. Do not go here do not see Dr. Jessica Valenti. I have had to work around her schedule for cancellations but she would not even honor her 10 minute window. The front desk worker was inconsiderate and did not inform the doctor I walked in at the 10 minute mark as well.

Because I have quite an extensive health history, I was anxious about finding a new PCP after we moved from Colorado Springs to Tampa. Fortunately, a friend recommended Dr. Jessica Valenti to me! I am so pleased with her friendly professional manner as she always takes her time and asks questions to identify the problem. Each of the specialists that she has referred me to have been excellent, as well. I'd rate her as the best doctor I have had in knowledge, personality, and service!

I had my yearly wellness visit today at 3 PM. I arrived and signed in at 3:02. Receptionist recorded me as signing in at 3:08. Valenti refused to see me because I was 8 minutes late. Really I was 1 minute late as I later googled the time and my watch was 1 minute fast. My first visit - Dec 2017 - I waited for her for over 30 minutes. Each time I left work - I feed 850 homebound elderly and disabled daily. Who respects my time.?Valenti - you've forgotten about your mission and now care about $. Use some of it to purchase a clock that keeps the correct time. Oh, and I was 1 minute late because I was helping an elderly patient of yours in the elevator who was winded from a walk across the parking lot. . Your ego is a disgrace to your humanity! Disgusting.

On more than one occasion I have been told I will not get an appointment and have been recommended over-the-counter medication. When pressed to have an appointment, even with just a P. A. the staff refuses and has no comments or explanation. This has happened to me more than once. Why have a doctor that won't even see you. Completely awful experience, don't waste your time. She obviously thinks you are a waste of hers.

I've seen Dr. Valenti for 10 years and she has been wonderful. One visit and you would understand how great and caring of a person she is to everyone. THANKS DOC!!

In my humble opinionâ?¦â?¦.this is probably the worst kind of medical care that exists. Although Dr. Valenti is good at projecting a personable and confident image it does not translate into competency. I trusted Dr. Valenti to truly be knowledgeable as to the medications she prescribed to me, as she so efficiently changed them. And yet, I ended up in a 2 day hospital stay costing over $37,000 with a diagnoses of overmedication, a result of my passing out in my home and landing on my face and breaking teeth. So letâ??s add another $5200 for emergency room visits, ambulance, and dental work. I trusted the Dr. to be open to hearing about the problems in scheduling and communicating through her office staff and unfortunately, the doctorâ??s response was defensive and angry. The office staff is superficially polite at best on a good day. I began with this group close to 17 YEARS AGO, being shuffle off to different doctors became the norm, as doctors left this practice or modified their… practice to include a select few patients who could pay an additional yearly fee. When management changed, about two years ago, patients suffered as the internal office conflicts played out in the quality of care patients received. Missed phone calls, inaccurate messages, rude responses by office staff, and a doctor who reacts to a toxic office environment when responding to patients, I hated dealing with the office and found myself not scheduling appointments unless I had a good reason. I could go on about the â??little thingsâ?? but the real problem comes when there is a medical issue beyond a simple cold. I placed my faith in this doctor after having suffered a stroke. When I met Dr. Valenti we had a friendly enough relationship but then my blood pressure became erratic and changes in meds began. I went through about two years of living miserably while different combinations of meds were tried. I had many odd incidents of passing out without a solution. After my hospital stay and diagnoses of overmedication Dr. Valenti became inaccessible, pushing me off on a cardiologist who adamantly said it was not heart. When I returned to the office for help for my BP, I was turned over to a PA. Voicing my concern as to my doctorâ??s availability resulted in Dr. Valenti refused to treat me. SO hereâ??s the truth, if you need her she is not there. If thereâ??s something she canâ??t figure out, you then become the problem. THIS IS TERRIBLE CARE. I changed doctors and in one week my BP was under control, I have no idea why I stayed with this doctor as long as I did. The office and doctor are both terrible and youâ??re on your own in an emergency.

Valenti is rude, cold, and the least caring doctor I've ever met. Staff is same.

Impossible to get an appointment - I have a herniated disc in my back and when I was in horrible pain and it became impossible to walk without a cane, they told me they couldn't fit me in for 2 weeks. I ended up in the ER. She said she was going to schedule me for an MRI and never did until over a month later, and when I finally did get the MRI, they never called me with the results even though I left 3 messages. Horrible at follow-up - she says at the appt that she'll do things and then does not follow through. Also had to wait 45 minutes because the staff dropped my chart behind a desk and then tried to flame me for being late even though I was early.

Dr. Valenti is very personable and listens to what her patients have to say. I took my mother and was amazed at her patience in treating her. My daughter also sees Dr. Valenti and she absolutely loves her.
