Dr. Jessica Mae Miller, MD

Dr Miller had excellent bedside manner. She takes her time and is thorough. However she did not call me to go over my results. Usually with a result that is negative but with high density, they will call and go through a review of what that means and explain options for supplemental tests and provide a recommendation on what to do. So that part was a bit disappointing but overall I would still recommend her as a great OB, just not at the Grandview Yards location. The front desk staff make you feel like you’re interrupting their time on the internet. If you have a question - to just about anything including “how far behind is the doctor running?”, after you have been waiting for 20 minutes - they will say they don’t know and point to the cards sitting on their desk to call the main line. Beware also, if you call that line for any medical questions you will wait on hold for at least 30 minutes. The staff never asked for my pharmacy even though they were writing a script, so I gave it… to the front desk. Surprise, the next day I still can’t pick up my script at the pharmacy because the office never called it in. Why? Because they said they never received the pharmacy info provided to the front desk. Also they were setting me up with a referral. I called three days in because I couldn’t schedule an appointment because the other doctor’s office said they hasn’t received a referral. Dr Miller’s office didn’t send the referral for a week. They also incorrectly filled out a script. I called and asked for it to be revised which took 1 hour of hold times to get to the medical staff. They then said I could pick it up in twenty minutes. 2 days later it wasn’t there when I drove to pick it up and said it was inconveniencing them to ask someone that wasn’t the nurse to print it. The nurses and doctor are great, it’s the team staff that makes it a negative experience. I will not be going back to this location.
