Dr. Jesus M. Arcenas

I have been a patient of Dr. Arcenas for at least 5 years, and prior to that I selected him for the care of my father. I am so confident in the care that he provides. If there is an issue, he will exhaust ALL possibilities even to the point of push back from the insurance company. He WILL NO ASSUME anything. He has an excellent bedside manner and the supporting staff are extremely accommodating.

Poor communication

Great Doc, horrible office. Constantly lose prescription fax requests, office is impossible to deal with. been a patient for close to 10 years and office service has gone down drastically :-(

Dr. Arcenas is a wonderful physician. He cares about his patients, spends time to discuss your needs, and takes a conservative approach to his diagnosis.

The staff lacks professional skills, not helpful the couple of times we needed assistance with our appointments. The doctor and staff don't seem to be patient oriented, More interested in getting the office visit paid.

I am always double or triple booked when seeing Dr. Arcenas, often waiting 30-75 min past my appointment. On top of that, the office has called and cancelled my appointments and made me reschedule twice. The staff is courteous and the Dr. Is competent, but the scheduling is ridiculous, and I'm lucky if I get 5min of attention from Dr. Arcenas. I will be changing doctors.

I left a previous Baptist Health provider for misdiagnosing my fatigue for just being a working mom of 3..When infact I needed replacement of my mitral valve. Dr Arcenas was recommended to me at that time. I have been with his office for 4 years. NO COMPLAINTS. I have a lot going on right now with my health and HE is very concerned and pro active in getting me well. He always listens to me when I need to inform him of the latest symptoms.

Jesus Arcenas and his staff used to be better but since the turnover it is very poor. I was prescribed the wrong medicine so if you do go to him, make sure you read the script as soon as you receive it. I trusted this office far too much, I have decided to not only leave the office, I left Baptist Health completely. They will take your money easily and not give the service deserved. I refuse to call this guy Dr. because he is not qualified and his staff is even worse.

Dr. Arcenas is competent and thorough,at times if the patient comments, orasks ?'s, he appears to get peturbed.Some of his staff is rude, unfriendlyand at times may make you wait an houror more for simple procedures that theyperform. This happened more than once.The response I received is that "the staff is overwelmed by the workload".They are oblivious to the fact that somepatients are employed, and paid by the hour, and when the patient has to wait and wait and wait, it costs the patientin lost wages. I am searching for a replacement doctor, that has a friendlycaring staff.

Seems to get annoyed easily. I feel like he thinks I'm challanging him when I ask questions.
