Jesus Samaniego JR., MD, FACOG

Was referred to him for complex cyst diagnosed by ultrasound. He completely disregarded my cyst and told me pain was due to a probable bladder infection. No urinalysis was done. Prescribed an antibiotic and told me to come back in 4 months if I was still in pain. I have an appt with another doctor tomorrow. He was checking his phone the entire time.... filing complaint with state medical board....

I chose Dr. Samaniego based on reviews I read online, and I could not be more pleased with my choice. I had a complicated pregnancy, which unfortunately ended in a miscarriage. Dr. Samaniego's office was the only in the area that would even see me before the 2 month mark. During and after every visit he has made sure to explain things thoroughly and answer all of my questions. I always felt informed, confident, and comfortable with my treatment plan. Dr. Samaniego is the epitome of a doctor; kindhearted, amicable, intelligent and easygoing.

Dr Samaniego has been my doctor for 6 years and every experience with him and his staff has been a pleasant one. Dr Samaniego also has great bedside manner. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends.

Dr. Sam has been my doctor now for about 15 years. While I was pregnant with my son, the doctor I was seeing at the time informed us that she was leaving Kelsey and that her patients were being referred to Dr. Sam. I was upset, but my mom also used Dr. Sam so I kept an open mind. I knew the second he walked into the room that I had made the right decision. He is gentle, compassionate, easy to talk to and you never ever feel rushed. On most visits I usually end up waiting an extended amount of time, BUT knowing everything I know about Dr. Sam, I have absolutely NO complaints. When it came time to deliver my son, he was right there the entire time. I never felt abandoned. The compassion this man has for his patients cannot be compared to anyone else.

Would not be able to finish to say all the good things I have to say about Dr.Sam after having a miscarriage he was right there with us, he's just wonderful,compassionate,thoughtfull,caregiver,etc anything good that you could think of...Thank you Dr.Sam

I work in the medical profession and I have both been a patient and a colleague of Dr. Sam. Those of us in the profession know the good, the bad and the ugly. There is no ugly in Dr. Sam. He is compassionate, patient, caring, extremely knowledgable, emphatic. He truly found his life calling becase physicians like him are born not made. God bless him for all that he does for his patients.He performed a surgery on me years ago, he was in my room first thing in the morning and last thing at night to check on my at St. Lukes Hospital, The Woodlands (that hospital is the best). He called me at home to check on my too.He is the best.

All the positive comments regarding Dr. Sam are true. He is personable, professional, thorough and thoughtful. You can't go wrong selecting him as your OBGYN.

I can't say enough about Dr. Sam. He has impressed me especially with the amount of time he spends with me every visit answering my endless questions. He has an excellent sense of humor mixed with loads of professionalism. He personally calls to follow-up with me post-visits, which I've never experienced with a doctor. What blew me away about Dr. Sam, however, was during the birth of my first baby a few weeks ago. Dr. Sam was not on call when I was in labor, but came in to deliver my baby anyway. I can't thank him enough and hope readers of this post choose Dr. Sam as their OBGYN. You will never regret that decision!

Dr. Samaniego is the most compassionate doctor I've ever met. As I had to endure a medically enduced miscarriage, Dr. Sam was extremely knowledgeable and walked me through the entire process. By that I mean he called me at home every 3 hours to make sure I was doing ok and there to answer any questions. I don't think there are many other doctors that will do that anymore. Dr. Sam helped me through a very rough time and I am blessed that he is my OB/GYN. A patient for life!

met Dr. Samaniego when I was in labor with my first child. It was a weekend, and my OB wasn't on call. As a first time mother, I was upset and scared to know that the Dr I had seen throughout my pregnancy wasn't going to deliver my daughter. That feeling didn't last long. Once I met Dr. Sam, I was completely at ease and totally comfortable with him. His bedside manner is something that women spend a lifetime searching for in an OB/GYN. He is kind, patient, and thorough. He IS late for some appointments, but he is an OB delivering babies. Things happen, and I understand that. However, when he does arrive late, he sincerely apologizes. He wants you to know that YOU are important, too. Just because he is running late, doesn't mean he will rush through your appointment (like many other Dr's). I will never see another OB/GYN other than him, if I can help it. He is a gem. Everyone I have talked to that is a patient of his (and some that WANT to be patients of his) have NOTHING but good… things to say about him. I only wish he could be my primary care physician so that I could have such a wonderful Dr to see more often. I just can't say enough about him. If I could give more than 5 stars, I WOULD!
