Dr. Jill Diamond, MD, FAAP

I completely agree with the other review about Dr. Jill Diamond speaking down to parents. As a first time mom, I was hoping for a much better experience with a pediatrician. I really felt as if I was being talked down to in a condescending way. Additionally, the practice is very busy and I always felt like my child was just a number.

My children go to pediatric health care. We have Dr. Susan Davis as our primary care doctors. She is amazing!! The one thing I do not like about this practice is that when one of my girls is sick I need to take them in even if Dr. Davis is not in. The covering physician should be able to pick up where Dr. Davis left off which usually is the case with many of the doctors there. Not Dr. Diamond !!! She tells people that she does not know my child well enough to proscribe antibiotics. My daughters charts clearly states what my daughter needs . She left me medically neglected over the long weekend until Dr. Davis returned To The office on Tuesday and helped my daughter. Numerous people I have spoke to feel the same way as I do with Dr. Diamond. She speaks down to parents as if she’s better then them and more knowledge . Little does she know she’s speaking to educated parents who are pharmacists and Dentists. From mom to mom ... I would transfer your child’s primary phyician to another… doctor in that practice Incase your child really needs medical attention . Dr. Diamond is It educated enough to help your child!!!

I would never recommend anyone to Dr. Diamond or to this practice. In addition to seeing Dr. Diamond, he saw several other doctors as well as the nurse practioner, all of whom mid-diagnosed him with something that is very common. It wasn't until we changed pediatricians that we are now seeing positive results. It's sad that so many health care professionals couldn't figure it out. I think the practice is too big and there is no continuity. Awful experience and I want people to know so you don't have to go through months of your child suffering for something that could've been treated much sooner. Because I had to give a rating, I chose one star, but if I had my choice it would've been none.

We left our original pediatrician and searched for a year for Dr. Diamond. We have been very happy with her knowledge, sincerity and professionalism. She is kind to my son and makes him laugh.
