Dr. Jill Annette Gramer, DO

My physician has closed his office. Therefore, my family and I had to find a new doctor. We were assigned Gramer by our insurance. Three weeks ago, I called to verify they accepted our insurance and at that time they asked what medications we took. I gave them a list and everything was fine. We hadn’t needed to set up our first appointment with this office; so everything had been great until this afternoon. Last night I was seen in the emergency room due to having a severe case of kidney stones. I was referred to a urologist but needed a referral by Gramer. I called and scheduled an appointment; specifically stating it was needed for a referral to the urologist. I was informed I needed to bring in all the referral information from the ER. At this time the lady on the phone asked what medications I took; not once was medication ever brought up by me. I was not seeing the doctor for medications but a referral. Not even five minutes later I get a call from a lady name Courtney stating… my appointment would be cancelled because Gramer did not prescribe all the medications I currently take. While speaking with Courtney, I tru explaining to her that 3 weeks ago, I was told my son & I would be accepted without issue. However, before I could finish my thoughts she hangs up on me. So, I call the office back and ask for the office manager. Low & behold lovely Ms. Courtney is the office manager. I asked her if I could finish speaking. I told her I never once asked for medications and this appointment is for a urologist referral. She said with no sympathy: I don’t know what to tell you but the appointment is cancelled anything else? This is extremely unprofessional and if you can’t get past the front office I can only imagine how wonderful the physician is they represent. Now, here I am without a referral to a urologist or a PCP. Oh, yea and my son is without a PCP too. I was proactive and called prior to our insurance assigning her to us after our PCP closed his office. This office failed us because I did my part.

had some exams done more than a week ago, no follow up call from the doctor's office, I had to call them twice to check if I needed a follow-up or if something needs to be done, my call was passed to the nurse, and the nurse was not even helpful, got a cold response from her as to what I needed to do regarding my issue with the liver & gallbladder, very very poor service especially from the staff!

I went to Dr. Jill Gramer's Dad, who was also a D.O. for years. Dr. Jill Gramer, like her Daddy, is a no nonsense, common sense dovtor, that listened to what complaints I had, diagnosed what was going on and came up with a plan to treat it, and sent me on my way. There was also less than a ten minute wait to see her. I will go back to her the next time that I am sick. I also plan on bringing our daughter in, so she can be a patient of record, and use Dr. Gramer, for her.

I love Dr. Grammer as she asks pertinent questions for my age, makes sure I have all shots and appropriate procedures/testing for my age, and takes time to discuss any issues and answers all my questions. She has also given me printed material at my request. Her staff is always friendly and helpful. Glad Dr. Grammer is my physician!

Every time I have gone to see her she seems like she is not really interested in you or what you have to say. Like she is preoccupied. I need someone that cares.

Dr Gramer gives you as much or as little info as you need. But she's serious when necessary. She's very loyal to her patients and I can tell her anything and feel comfortable she will ledge judgemental opinions out of her prognosis.

This Dr. Never had time to see me. Her staff was so rude and unprofessinal. Jill may be good for kids or with people who are well. But if your sick and have a number of specialist shes so lazy because she will drop you with no real notice. But had the nerve to think i would continue ro take my kids to her. Shes a lazy Dr. With a lazy staff and i would suggest u stay away from her!
